  • Ancient Greek & Latin Literature in Translation
  • English Literature from Medieval Period to 17th Century
  • Drama from Shakespeare to Ben Johnson
  • Restoration and Augustan Prose and Poetry
   
 
Semester 2
 
  • Restoration & Augustan Drama
  • 18th and 19th Century Novels
  • English Romantic Poetry

  • Student may opt for either of the following:
    • American Literature
    • European Comedy
  • Student may opt for either of the following:
    • 20th Century Indian English Literature
    • Indian Literature in Translation
 
  • Dissertation
 

Apart from the core course that are given above, the students has to take the value added courses of Behavioural Science and one of the Foreign Languages: French, German, Spanish, Japanese, and Chinese of 2 (two) Credits
