Globally Comparable Infrastructure Our infrastructure is dynamic in nature because of our constant attempt to maintain pace with the development available to us. The infrastructure acts as a facilitator for the effective delivery of our curriculum.

THE COMPUTER CENTRE

The objective of ASCS has always been to be in the forefront of utilisation of IT and to leverage the power of IT in making learning informative and entertaining. The state-of-the-art technology in our Computer Centre comprises the following :

  • 122 PCs with inbuilt Pentium processors based on HP/IBM machines.

  • The entire network rests on four (Firewall, Intranet, Mail, Attachments File & Print) HP and IBM servers.

  • The student and faculty members can access the Internet throughout the campus with the help of broadband radio link and ISDN line backup.

  • E-Mail facilities are available for faculty and students.

  • Latest software is available to enable the students to work on data analysis, web technologies and software designing.

THE LIBRARY :

  • The Library has over 6025 books and magazines, national and international periodicals covering all aspects of management studies, with a separate section for audio & video CDs.


  • The Syndicate Rooms provide the right setting to the students for important brain storming sessions

CLASSROOM :



  • The amphitheater style classrooms provide the most conducive atmosphere for dynamic and focused discussions. They have been designed to bring together analysis with action and are augmented by well-equipped facilities.

  • The air-conditioning in the classrooms creates the right atmosphere for long hours of learning.

THE AUDITORIUM :

  • A totally equipped, state of the art auditorium with a seating capacity of 600 is part of the ultra modern infrastructure .

  • It provides the ideal setting for management events and corporate interaction programmes.

  • There is an ultra-modern Seminar Hall with a seating capacity of 300.

  • The Hall is well equipped with state-of-the-art audio-visual and presentation tools to facilitate smooth presentations etc.

SPORTS:

  • In tune with the objective of all round development of
    students, various sporting and physical development activities are encouraged amongst students.

  • To enable students to enjoy sports, the campus is equipped with an Olympic size running track, football field, cricket field, basket ball & tennis courts, table tennis tables etc.

  • And for those who are interested in equestrian, there is a separate Horse Riding Academy.

HOSTEL:

  • Students come to Amity School of Computer Sciences from every corner of the country.

  • The 600 room Hostel at ASCS provides such an ambience that the students feel they are at home.

  • • The rooms are well furnished, airy, with attached bathrooms, proper house keeping facilities, telephone facilities and are equipped with a number of other amenities as well.

  • Accommodations are separate for boys & girls.

MEDICAL FACILITIES :



  • To ensure total well-being of students, an ultra-modern Healthcare Centre has been set a up at ASCS. A highly qualified and experienced resident doctor is in attendance, full time.
  • A tie-up with Apollo Hospital and Kailash Hospital has been worked out to take care of emergencies.
  • Students at ASCS are also covered by a comprehensive Medical Insurance, to meet all kinds of exigencies .

CAFETERIA :

A modern gourmet class, air-conditioned restaurant offers variety of Indian, Chinese and continental snacks and meals to cater to the multi-ethnic tastes of the students.There are special counters for ice-creams,shakes and delicious chaat.


Committees

ACADEMIC COMMITTEE :

This committee works for the betterment of various academic activities. The committee, headed by the Director of the Institute along with other faculty members and academically brilliant students, is responsible for day to day classes, discipline, introduction of new subjects as per the industry demand, organizing of various seminars and guest lectures on latest topics by eminent personalities from industry and academic.

CULTURAL COMMITTEE :

This committee is responsible of various library-related activities, like suggestions for new books, rules regarding issuing and returning of books for the students and staff members etc.



A number of Cultural Activities are organized at regular intervals. Students participant enthusiastically in various Inter Colleges Meets held every year at Amity Campus and other prestigious Colleges.

IT CLUB:

Seminars on latest in Information Technology are held annually. Eminent personalities from leading Industries / Corporates participated and enlighten the students in and about the latest trend in the field of Computer Sciences .

SPORTS COMMITTEE :

Amity Campus boasts of an Olympic sized Running Track, Cricket Ground, Basketball, Tennis, Volleyball and Badminton Courts where many a sports events are organized on a regular basis for mental & physical ability of the students.

“Sangathan” the sports meet is held every year in which students from ASCS participate actively in true sportsman sprit.

Runners up=Cricket, Chess, Valley Ball.
