MBA (ELDP) would be different from the other courses offering the degree of Masters in Business Administration. The key differentiators would be:

Systems Management Approach - Interdependencies and interrelationships between elements of a system are especially obvious in a smaller, rapidly changing firm. Integrating the systems theory throughout the curriculum and modifying course content to be applicable in a smaller privately-held enterprise develops the student's ability to think strategically yet implement pragmatically

Individual Entrepreneurial Assessment - At the beginning of the program every student participates in an assessment to identify his or her entrepreneurial and leadership skills and behaviors. Student will have a clear understanding of their individual leadership strengths and weaknesses which can then be used to build a management and advisory team that will assist them in gaining access to the diverse competencies needed to run a small enterprise.

Customized Curriculum Taught by Experienced Faculty and Entrepreneurs - Faculty and entrepreneurs with extensive experience in entrepreneurship will teach courses using methods customized for an entrepreneurial student. Reflecting on their experience, faculty has designed courses that recognize the unique environment facing entrepreneurs as they optimize and grow a privately-held business enterprise.

Experiential Immersion - Student will participate in the entrepreneurial experience through field assignments working hand-in-hand with entrepreneurs. They will conduct an in-depth interview, receive one-on-one mentoring by an entrepreneur and have the opportunity to attend roundtable sessions where they will get specific, tactical solutions to optimizing and growing a business.

Business Plan Clinic - The Business Plan Clinic is where students will gain practical, real-world experience in reviewing business plans for existing and new ventures. They will study under volunteer entrepreneurs and faculty to assess new business opportunities and experience the challenges and rewards of creating a new venture or expanding a business.

Students will learn…and experience…entrepreneurship. Through field studies, personal interviews with successful entrepreneurs and acting as consultants to individuals creating new ventures, students apply entrepreneurial thinking. The curriculum, developed in collaboration with successful entrepreneurs and business leaders, is taught with Centre for Entrepreneurship & Leadership development of Amity Business School’s distinctive combination of theory and practical application."
