Having realized the need for introduction of a formal capsule in character building and instilling a sense of discipline amongst more than 60,000 students who study at various Educational Institutions within the AMITY UNIVERSE, The Founder President, Dr. Ashok K Chauhan, in his ‘VISION 2030’ statement has clearly indicated his desire to start some form of ‘Military Training’ for selected youth within the AMITY FAMILY and gradually expand the activities to cover a larger segment of its student population.

Creation of a cadet force exclusively for the AMITY INSTITUTIONS is the brain child of the Founder President. AMITY is the first ‘Private Education Foundation in India’, to have a Cadet Corps, of its own. The AMITY CADET CORPS commenced activities from the academic year 2005-06.The AMITY Cadet Corps has drawn Officers and Instructors from the fraternity of Ex – servicemen and has enrolled students from class VII and VIII from selected Amity International Schools. Ideally for every platoon (35 cadets) of the AMITY Cadet Corps, there should be one AMITY Cadet Corps Officer who will be chosen from amongst the teaching staff of the institution concerned.

1. To develop ‘Essential Character Qualities' in young cadets and assist them in their overall development as confident and committed individuals ready to take their place in society.
2. To create a human resource of Organised, Trained and Motivated youth to provide Leadership in all walks of life.
3. To develop a spirit of adventure and the ideals of selfless service amongst the youth.
