	Who We Are?

A registered NGO of the Ritnand Balved Education Foundation (RBEF).
Reflects the social responsibility, conscousness and concerns of Amity Group of Institutions.
All the Amity institutions right from the time of their inception undertook social work for upliftment of the downtrodden.
AHF was created in 1995 to coordinate and provide a fillip to all social welfare activities and also undertake steps for equitable social development.

HEALTH with emphasis on Reproductive and Child Health, Coummunity Health and Health Delivery System.
Universalization of EDUCATION through formal, non-formal and vocational education.
Development of models for COVERNANCE and ACCOUNTABILITY with right based approach to development.

AHF aims to serve the society and contribute to its development with particular reference to the following thrust areas:

HEALTH with emphasis on Reproductive and Child Health, Community Health and Health Delivery Systems
Universalization of EDUCATION through formal, non-formal and vocational education.
Development of models for GOVERNANCE and ACCOUNTABILITY with special attention to community mobilization and participation with rights based approach to development.
CAPACITY BUILDING OF NGOs through training programmes.
RESEARCH AND CONSULTANCY on psychological issues impacting development
NETWORKING, collaborating and interacting with national and international organizations on development issues.

During my travel around the world I have been asking people " What is your mission in your life ?". They have been diverse answer, but those born with aim in life and those who feel socially responsible invariably gave a common answer : " That there mission in life is to serve not only their own country but the humanity at large." Here in India, Amitians too has the same philosophy and the same mission of life.

The whole world is currently passing through an era, which is highly explosive. This situation can be changed only through education - education of a kind making responsible citizen, those who know their responsibility and can contribute to their optimum level to the development of human civilization.
