AIBS has a unique system of Mentor Mentee concept, in which each student is allotted three mentors, an industry mentor, an alumni mentor and a mentor from the academia. All the mentors polish the student on both academic and industry front and prepare them to suit the industry requirements.
Amity International Business School organizes various Seminars and conferences like Corporate Meet, International HR summit, International Marketing Meet, International Business Horizon etc. By organizing and participating in these business summits, students get a chance to interact with the industry captains. This interaction facilitates student to get good summer as well as final placements by successfully displaying their organizing and managing skills during these conferences.
As a mandatory part of academic curriculum, students are required to undergo summer internship of 6-8 weeks with various organizations. The summer internship allows students to apply the theoretical concepts learnt in the classrooms in the real management settings, which sharpens their ability to diagnose, analyze and resolve the problems.
Students are also provided with short term live projects with leading companies which run parallel to their academic sessions. The experience gained by the students during summer internship and short term projects proves to be invaluable at the time of final placements The highest package offered in campus placements for 2010 was Rs. 12 lacs p.a. and the average package was Rs. 6.25 lacs.

Our Placement Approach
The Academic Rigor of the future leaders is made complete through the placement program that introduces them to the corporate atmosphere. The graduating Batch enters the real life world of management through the final Placement program, while the first year students get familiarized with the industry through internship program. The Placement activity broadly covers Pre-Placement talk, Summer Internship and Final Placement.

Pre-Placement Talk (PPT)
It is an opportunity for the corporate world to interact and to get better acquainted with their prospective recruits, both for the summer and final placements. Organizations make presentations in which typical student concerns like job description, remuneration package, scope for growth, cross- functional exposure are addressed .

Summer Internship
Summer internship constitutes an integral part of the MBA(IB), IMBA, 3 Continent MBA curriculum and is valued for its relevance in management education and its relevance in management education and its application. Strategically positioned between the first and second year of the MBA (IB),IMBA & 3 Continental MBA, the summer internship is the perfect opportunity for students to apply the theoretical concepts learnt within the classrooms. After competing the first year course work, the students join different organizations for a period of about eight to ten weeks on specific assignments as summer trainees. The Industry Interaction Cell(IIC) facilitates in locating suitable projects in different organizations. The companies discuss with IIC about various projects for which they would like to engage the students for internship. The students carefully pickup the projects and they have to accept the first offer they get. As the part of the internship students are required to submit a report. The presentations made by them to the organization forms the basis for evaluation of the project work. It is an occasion for prospective managers to explore varied career opportunities in the areas of their interest. They get a better grasp of the important inter-linkages among different functions and develop a realistic managerial perspective on corporate workings.

Final Placement
The industry has sought and utilized the intellectual capital of AIBS by participating in the camps recruitment process. In fact, the institutes continue to maintain an impressive and a consistent placement record, since its inception. The placement of the graduating batch marks the culmination of the rigorous two years at AIBS.
