Highlights of Ninth Annual International Conference-INBUSH (International Business Horizon)
on
“Harnessing Happiness for Global Economic Growth through Innovation,
Competitiveness and Transformation”
from 21st – 23rd February 2007
Since its inception in 1999, Amity International Business School (AIBS) has already made an indelible mark in the world of International Business education, research and consulting. In our continuing search for excellence and new paradigms, we regularly conduct extensive research conferences to explore new dimensions and strategies for qualities and practices necessary to make the world a better place.
Research has proved that development has no meaning without happiness. In most of the developed economies, the cases of depression, suicide, fear, disappointment, loneliness and isolation after old age are very prominent. Even after working day and night to develop oneself along with developing the economy, a question remains in the mind of a true professional today: “Am I happy?” Interestingly, research studies also point out that out of every 10 top professionals, 6.8 are over stressed, have disturbed family life and are bringing up an unbalanced and frustrated society which is very harmful for the overall development of the world.
Keeping this in mind, with the blessings of Almighty, and the vision of our Founder President to make India a Superpower by 2030 by spreading happiness all over, we made a sincere attempt to further delve into this issue through our Ninth Annual International Business Conference on “Harnessing Happiness for Global Economic Growth through Innovation, Competitiveness and Transformation” from 21st-23rd February 2007 at our main Amity Campus in Sector-44, Noida, UP.
