(Gold Medalist) and a Gold Medalist in MBA, she has specialized in Instrumentation & Control Engineering and Management of Information Technology and Finance and has a work experience of over 13 years covering areas of project execution, project management, consultancy, research and teaching.

She is presently a Professor of Information Technology at Amity International Business School, Noida and is associated with the MBA (IB) program as its Program Coordinator. She has been actively involved in organizing a number of National and International Seminars and Research Paper contests in the area of Management.

She is presently engaged in research and development of case studies in the area of entrepreneurship, knowledge management and e-marketing; and has contributed research papers in the area of E-commerce, entrepreneurship and Role of Information & Communication Technology in developing economies.

She has over 3 years experience in the IT industry in Corporate HR and in the field of education. In academics and research, her areas of interests include HR and behavioral studies. She also has international teaching exposure in London.
She supports programme co-ordination of Undergraduate Courses: Integrated MBA & 3 Continent BBA and BBA-IB.
She takes care of strategic expansions, operational excellence, marketing initiatives, and reporting apart from her teaching assignments.

She has 3 years of experience out of which one year was in the corporate world as an HR Executive and has about 2 years of experience in Research and Teaching. She has presented four research papers in the field of HR and Qualitative Research Methods in conferences across India and has published one article on “Employment Branding” in a national magazine.
Apart from her teaching assignments, she is actively involved in supporting strategic initiatives at AIBS.

A commerce graduate from Shri Ram College of commerce (SRCC) is aimed at bringing Indian education system at par with International standards by introducing advancements in the academic structure & modules.
She also has taken up strategic projects for providing education to Students of Uganda, Rwanda & Botswana through Pan –African E- network project. Currently, she is formulating Case Studies on International Financial Management & management of foreign exchange.

She is an alumini of Amity International School, Saket and has successfully pursued her graduation in Economics from Shaheed Bhagat Singh College, University of Delhi. She has a Masters Degree in International Business from the much coveted Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi.
She has an excellent academic record and has won a number of inter varsity debate competitions with the most recent one being “Inclusive Growth- A utopia”. As her forte is writing, she was the student editor at Amity International School, Saket and wrote for a children’s newspaper as well. Ms. Aftab presented a research paper on “Global Human Resource Outsourcing” during the Global HR Summit 2009. Apart from her teaching assignments, she is also plays an active role as an Assistant Editor of the monthly e-journal of Amity International Business School.

Apart from academics, she has participated in Management Development Program held in National University Singapore. She has presented research paper in International Seminar On “Re-engineering Of Indian banking Industry In Global Perspective”, organized by Faculty Of Commerce & Management Studies Bareilly College Bareilly(MJP Rohilkhand University U.P.) She has also participated and presented an Abstract in Fifth AIMS International Conference 2007 on Management, organized by ICFAI Business School, Hyderabad on “Technology And Management Two Pillars Of Success”.
She was awarded First position in ‘Paste Your Taste’ in National Geography Olympiad & Geofest International organized by City Montessori Inter College, Lucknow and also in 4th and 5th SAARC Youth Festival, organized by City Montessori School, Lucknow.
