About Amity Institute of Education

Amity Institute of Education offers a one year regular B. Ed. programme approved by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) and is affiliated to Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University , Delhi . Its mission is to play a catalytic role to ensure a sustainable development in the programmes of teacher education in the country. The B.Ed. programme is an endeavour to pursue excellence in teacher education under the umbrella of Ritnand Balved Education Foundation (RBEF).

Amity's Mission

To lay supreme emphasis on providing the most modern and sophisticated learning environment coupled with Indian heritage, value system and Sanskars . The guiding principle of the organisation is: "Where modernity blends with tradition” . The academic and cultural activities at Amity Institute of Education (AIE) provide a platform where all students come together and explore the individual and group talents and resources. The faculty and management possess a high degree of integrity and knowledge that churns the teacher trainees into efficient and effective human beings. Hence we say: "We nurture talent" .

 Objectives of the Organisation

•  To prepare professionally competent teacher trainees in tune with the latest trends in the field of teaching-learning.

•  To provide hands on experience to teacher trainees on accessing and processing information in improving the methods of teaching and learning.

•  To acquaint the teacher trainees with the various psychological facts required for day to day handling of the students in schools.

•  To inculcate ethics, values and modernity in teacher trainees and to give them an opportunity to apply those values to move ahead and make a mark.

•  To equip the teacher trainees with a sense of responsibility and respect for human values.
