Course Structure

Course Programme

  • The course comprise of four modules:
  • Design and prepare for learning programmes and learning sessions.
  • Deliver learning activities to meet learner’s needs.
  • Assess learner’s progress and achievement.
  • Evaluate and improve learning programmes and non-professional practice.

Instructioanl Modalities
The instructions in Designing, Delivering, Assessing and Evaluating learning activities and programmes would be imparted through multiple interventions such as: Lecture/Presentation/ Demonstrations, Simulation, Assignments, Work-based projects, Case studies, Role play, One-to-one coaching, Self-directed study, Team work, Small learning or project groups, Learner pairs.

Duration

  • The duration of the course constitutes of about 30 learning hours per module i.e. 120 hours of all the four modules.
  • The classes would be conducted once in a weekday for four hours.

EVALUATION SYSTEM

  • Assignment–based assessments on four modules where candidates would be required to undertake structured activities and produce reflective reports on professional activity in real teaching contexts.
  • Observation by a competent person who can confirm that performance observed reflects high professional standards.
  • External assessment CIE.
  • By learners themselves.
