Dr. JC Kala IFS (Honorary. Director General)
JC Kala, IFS (Retd), Director General AIGWES and Forest, Government of India with over four decades of experience in Forestry, wild life and natural resources management both in federal and State Government. He spearheaded the World's largest people’s movement in forestry in the country popularly known as Joint forest management, overviewed and guided functioning of premier organizations viz., Indian council of forestry research and education, Wild life Institute of India, Forest Survey of India and Indian Institute of Forest Management as their Chairman . Prof. BKP Sinha, IFS (Retd), Head ASNRSD
Prof. B.K.P. Sinha was an Indian Forest Services Officer of 1968 batch. He is an acknowledged professional in the field of forestry and natural resource management. He has a distinguished career and has served as Principal Chief Conserver/MD, UP Forest Cooperation, Project Director, World Bank Forestry Project and as special secretary to the government of UP. He has lately been National Coordinator for Task Force on inter-linking of rivers. He has also served for several UNDP/FAO projects. He has many scientific publications to his credit. He is a well-known forester in India with Master’s Degree in Forestry (Economics) from University College of North Wales, Bangor, (U.K.).

Dr. Pankaj Tewari, Deputy Director, AIGWES
Specialized in Energy, Environment, Climate Change and Global Warming related issues with extensive experience in renewable energy, wastewater treatment, carbon credit market, Nanotechnology and drug delivery systems (US Patent). After graduating from IIT Kanpur (M.Sc.) and IIT Delhi (Ph.D.), he has worked as Postdoctoral Research Fellow, Research Scientist and Management Professional with many Universities/Institutes/Companies globally which include Max-Planck Institute: Germany, Fraunhofer Institute: Germany, City University of New York: USA, University of Montreal: Canada, Natural Resources Canada (Federal Government): Canada and ConocoPhillips: Canada. He also holds an MBA degree in Natural Resources Energy and Environment from University of Alberta, Canada.

Dr. Upamanyu Hore, Lecturer, ASNRSD
A Ph.D. in Wildlife Science from Wildlife Institute of India, a national institute of worldwide reputation. He has 5 years of research experience in Wildlife and Forestry. His areas of research interests and teaching expertise are in wildlife survey, conservation biology, landscape ecology, restoration ecology and biostatistics. He has extensive experience in developing computer simulation models of populations and ecosystem processes. He has more than 10 publications in various national, international journals and in books. One of his publications has been awarded Chutervedi Prize for best research paper in Wildlife.

Mr. Debojyoti Chakraborty, Lecturer, AIGWES
He is masters in Environment Management from Forest Research Institute University, Dehradun, India. He has been associated with many prestigious research projects like, “Beyond Kyoto: EU- India CDM Partnership”. He has to his credit several publications in reputed journals and magazines. His interests include Global Climate Change, Biodiversity and Wildlife Conservation. He is one of the key professionals in developing a small scale CDM AR project in Haryana which is registered with the CDM EB of UNFCCC. Besides that he is involved in the various training projects on carbon forestry projects in India as a core faculty.

Ms. Parichay, Lecturer, AIGWES
Parichay holds M.Sc. in Environmental Science from Banaras Hindu University (BHU) and Master of Philosophy in Natural Resource Management from TERI. She has four years of research experience. She has vast exposure on Clean Development Mechanism, Environment Due Diligence, Environment Audit and Social Impact Assessment while serving in SGS India. She has done several Environment Impact Studies while working in Wildlife Institute of India. Presently she holds a position of Lecturer with AIGWES.

Ms. Maya Kumari, Lecturer, ASNRSD
She holds M. Tech. degree in Remote Sensing and GIS technology from Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra, Ranchi and Master’s degree in Environmental Science from Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi. She has done several research projects related to geospatial mapping of land degradation in Ranchi with Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra, Ranchi. Her specialization is in the theory and practice of remote sensing and geographic information systems.

Mr. Prabhu Prasad Das, Lecturer, ASNRSD
He holds M.Phil and M.Sc. degree in Geology from Utkal University, Bhubaneswar, Orissa. He has done several research projects with Department of Earth and Environmental Sciences, University of New Orleans and Department of Earth Sciences, Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee. He has 7 years of research experience and 3 years of teaching experience in Natural Resource Management. His specialization is in the application of remote sensing techniques and geographic information system designs in defining wetland dynamics and processes. He has been awarded with several scholarships and fellowships including Garden Club of America National Graduate Wetland scholarship, New Orleans Town Gardener’s graduate scholarship, Dean's-III Graduate Fellowship and CSIR-UGC Junior Research Fellowship. He has attended a number of International Seminars and Workshops. His research interests are in application of Remote Sensing and GIS for ecological studies, vegetation analysis .
