Dr. P.K.B.Menon was formerly an Advisor in the Dept. of Science and Technology, Govt. of India. He was also the Secretary to National Science and Technology Entrepreneurship Development Board (NSTEDB).

He has more than two decades of experience in promoting entrepreneurship among science and technology persons. As a result, a movement in entrepreneurship development has been initiated in academic and technical institutions in the country. He had formulated several schemes to encourage entrepreneurship among S&T persons in the country.

The Science and Technology Entrepreneurs Parks and Technology Business Incubators were some of the schemes conceptualised and implemented by him in India. He has provided mentoring services to several start-up companies.
