Mr. Aseem Chauhan
 
Chief Executive
Mr. Aseem Chauhan is the Additional President and Board Member of the Ritnand Balved Education Foundation, the umbrella organization of the Amity institutions, which currently have over 45,000 students in 130 programs of 70 institutions across 600 acres of hi-tech campuses with 3.1 million sq. ft. of built up area.  Mr. Aseem Chauhan is also the CEO of the Crossborder Group. 

Mr. Chauhan has extensive experience in venture capital and leveraged buyouts and has made investments of over $500 million globally. He was formerly with AEA Investors, a multi-billion dollar private equity firm in New York which invests funds for current and former Fortune 100 CEOs and wealthy families across the world.

Prior to this he was at Philadelphia Ventures, providing early stage venture capital to biotech and hi-tech start-ups. He has also been with Mercer Management Consulting providing strategic advisory to leading companies in New York, London and Hong Kong, and with JP Morgan in investment banking.

Mr. Chauhan holds degrees in Engineering, Finance and Strategic Management from The Wharton Business School at the University of Pennsylvania and is an alumnus of the prestigious Jerome Fisher Program in Management & Technology.

Mr. Chauhan is on a number of committees including the Government of India’s National Committee for Biotechnology Policy and the CII National Committee for Higher, Technical & Vocational Education.

A truly global citizen, Mr. Chauhan has spent nearly two decades in Europe and more than one decade in the US.  He is constantly working towards the upliftment of India through his involvement in business and non-profit organizations.
