Introduction of Institution :
Amity Institute of Information Technology (AIIT), Noida, which is the integral part of Amity University Uttar Pradesh, is a centre of excellence for quality education in Information technology with special focus on emerging trends.
Under the aegis of AIIT, four widely acclaimed IT courses, viz., Master of Computer Applications, MCA; Master of Science in Network Technology and Management, M. Sc. (NTM); Bachelor of Computer Applications, BCA; and Bachelor of Science in Information Technology, B. Sc. (IT) are currently administered.
At AIIT, Industry Interaction Platforms such as industry mentoring, IT vision board, career advisory board, industry visits, Seminars and conferences are active. Students also get exposure to softer dimensions of corporate expectations like teamwork, leadership, winning attitude and entrepreneurship.
The Cultural and Technical Club of AIIT is the social arm of the college. Our club promotes international understanding and recruitment of the society. With this objective in mind, our annual Cultural and Technical Festival, CYBUS is hosted each year to offer a platform to the students of various colleges to showcase their talent with the spirit of friendship, fraternity and understanding.
AIIT has an illustrious history when it comes to inter college festivals & it gives us great pleasure to proclaim that we have been involved in some of the most successful ventures till date. A Corporate Meet, inviting a large number of dignitaries from various Corporate Giants, is also held alongside CYBUS each year.
AIIT is a CISCO Regional Networking Academy since March 2001. CISCO Networking Programs are also delivered through CISCO Local Networking Academies, which are affiliated, to the CISCO Regional Networking Academy. The program provides a curriculum of four Semesters participation program, enabling students to attain the privileged CCNA Certification and Training.
AIIT is providing this Course as a Value Addition Course to the students of MCA, M.Sc. (NT&M) and B.Sc. (IT). This Course is also being provided to the external students & Working Professional. Currently AIIT is having 27 Local Academies and many more are in the pipeline.
AIIT also has a tie-up with InterSystems India, Pvt. Ltd. and it is the first Institute in India to offer InterSystems CacheCampus Program to foster knowledge about Cache among the student community.
Amity University has collaboration with EMC2, Sun MicroSystems, Oracle, JKT-SAP, Nucleus. Being a part of the University, the students of AIIT have the opportunity to avail access to the courses offered by these organizations.
