Prof. (Dr.) Alpana Goel, Director & Head is World Institute for Nuclear Security (WINS) Ambassador of India and Chair of WG-II, INSEN, IAEA. Mr. Mayank (B.Tech + M.Tech integrated degree) selected in BARC Training School-62 Batch-2017 as TSO-OCES. After completion of one year training, he will be placed as Scientific Officer in BARC/NPCIL/IGCAR/NFC etc. Four students selected in DAE Graduate Fellowship Scheme (DGFS) PhD programme and pursuing their PhD under the aegis of HBNI, BARC. Three students selected in abroad (Germany, France and South Korea) for their studies and pursuing their MS/PhD, totally funded by the corresponding institutions. Three students selected for summer internship at University of Saskatchewan in the year of 2017. Four students of AINST qualified in written test of TSO-OCES examination 2018. Mr. Nikhil Mozumdar (B.Tech) got best presentation award in Visiting Students' Research Programme (VSRP), 2017 at TIFR, Mumbai. Students are selected every year in Visiting Students' Research Programme (VSRP), at TIFR, Mumbai. Mr. Akhil G. Nair selected in VSRP-2018 at TIFR, Mumbai. Amity Institute of Nuclear Science and Technology (AINST), Amity University Uttar Pradesh organised workshop on " Vulnerability Assessment of Nuclear Security System Design during 17-19th April 2018 in collaboration with Texas A & M University and Oak Ridge National and funded by DTRA. " Amity Society for Nuclear Security " was inaugurated by chief guest Dr. Ashok K Chauhan, Founder President Amity Education Group on 20th April 2018 under the umbrella of Amity Institute of Nuclear Science and Technology (AINST), Amity University Uttar Pradesh, Noida, India.
