Prof. Abha Singh is heading Amity Institute of Psychology and Allied Sciences as Joint Director. She possesses a Master's in Psychology from University of Delhi and a Master of Business Administration with more than 14 years of teaching, training, Counselling & Industry experience. Her areas of interest include Behavioral Science, Personality Enhancement, Employee Counselling, Leadership, Emotional Intelligence and Psychological testing.

The Institute is running academic & professional undergraduate, postgraduate, Diploma & Certificate programmes in psychology, counselling psychology, school counselling, psychology of human behaviour & Family and Child Psychology.

She has conducted training programmes in area of Self Awareness, Self Development, Positive Attitude, Conflict Management, Leadership, Personality Enhancement, Interpersonal Skills, Effective Communication skills, Effective Habits, Enhancing Self Motivation, Emotional Intelligence, Building Assertiveness, Stress Management, Team Building, Parenting Skills, Psychometric Testing etc. for the companies like IBM, HP, Motherson, GAIL, NTPC, Indian Airlines, Engineers India Limited, NHPC and Institutes like UP Academy of Administration Nainital, Postal Staff College, CRPF, Police, schools etc.

Also provided consultancy on Psychometric Tests for Pharmecia India Pvt. Ltd., for the selection of candidates for Asstt. Divisional Manager and Regional Sales Trainer.

Presented research papers in National and International conferences. Invited as expert to speak on 'Stress Management', 'Obesity' and “Motherhood – Psychological Perspective” on BBC (International News).

Ms. Taranjeet Duggal is Sr. Lecturer in Amity Insitute of Psychology And Allied Sciences. She holds Masters degree in Sociology besides being having a Postgraduate Diploma in Business Administration with specialization in HR and Training, also holds a Diploma in Training and Development. She has three years experience in corporate and seven years in Academics. Her areas of interest include providing consultancy and training. She has been associated as a trainer with various corporate houses like Maruti, Nestle, Hero Honda, Merubani, Escorts, NSDART, CWC, Xansa, NTPC, NHPC etc. She has experience of conducting various open house sessions. She is also a Resource Person for Amity Staff College .

Ms. Shivani Khurana is a Sr. Lecturer in Amity Institute of Psychology and Allied Sciences. Her educational qualifications include B. A. (Hons.) in Psychology, M. Phil in Psychology (Gold Medalist) and M.Ed. She achieved Grade ‘A' with distinction in her dissertation work during M.Phil. University of Twente , The Netherlands awarded Diploma for TRAITS Prog- Training the Trainers to enhance skills. She is a author of one book enitled -Handbook of Research Methodology. She has nine and a half years of teaching experience. Her areas of interest include Educational Psychology, Behavioural Science, Developmental Psychology, Research Methodology, Psychometric Testing.

Ms. Roli Shukla is a Lecturer at Amity Institute of Psychology & Allied Sciences. She is an MA in Psychology from Lucknow University and has qualified UGC Net for Lecturership. Prior to AIPS she has worked as a visiting Faculty of Psychology in Lucknow University and other degree colleges. She has over 6 years of teaching experience. She has been conducting training sessions for various Institutes and has recently presented a paper in the National Conference on Mental Health.

Ms.Pooja Chadda  is a Lecturer at Amity Institute of Psychology and Allied Sciences. She has her Masters Degree in Human Development from Delhi University (Formerly called Child Development) and also has an MBA in Human Resource Management. She has NET qualification to her credit besides having over four years of experience in research and training. She has also worked as a Visiting Lecturer in a number of Institutes before joining AIPS. She has written a number of Research Papers for both National and International journals and has been imparting trainings for various organizations.


Ms. Monika Dutta is presently working as a lecturer in Amity Institute of Psychology & Allied Sciences. Her Educational qualification is MBA, PGDM, and PGDBM Specialized in Human Resource Management & Marketing. She is UGC NET Qualified and pursuing her PhD. From Jammu University . She has work experience of over 10 Years in corporate & academics.



Ms. Mitali Srivastava is Lecturer in Amity Institute of Psychology and Allied Sciences. She possesses M.Phil Degree (Clinical Psychology) from Kasturba Medical College , Manipal. She also holds Advanced Certification Degree in Clinical Hypnotherapy from California Hypnosis Association and Certificate in Guidance from IGNOU. She has more than two years of experience in the field of mental health. Her areas of interest include Child and Adolescent psychology, psychological assessments, teaching, trainings, counseling and psychotherapy. She has conducted training programmes for parents and teachers on various childhood related disorders. She also holds expertise in dealing with various kinds of psychological problems & relationship issues. With the vision to help more and more people She has been actively involved in conducting awareness camps, in the community, on various psychological issues. Also as an Employee Counsellor she has provided training and counseling services in various corporate sectors like Oracle, Lucent Technologies, Symantec & Microsoft.


Ms Komal Verma is Asstt. Lecturer in Amity Institute of Psychology and Allied Sciences. She holds Masters Degree in Applied Psychology with specialization in Health and Industrial psychology. She has completed M.Phil in Psychology (Result awaited) and is pursuing MBA in HR. She has also done a Certificate Course in Counseling. Her area of interest includes Health psychology,
Industrial psychology & Counseling. Presented papers in National and International Conferences and also her research articles have been published in journals of American Diabetic Association.

Ms. Ishita Jain is a Research Associate in Amity Institute of Psychology and Allied Sciences. She is Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Advertising from University of Delhi , Master of Arts in Psychology (with specialization in Counselling) from Amity University and also holds a Masters' Diploma in International Trade from Symbiosis, Pune. Her areas of interest include providing Counselling, Personality Enhancement, conducting workshops on Self Awareness, Team Building , Behavioural Communication, Relationship Management, Stress Management, etc., and undertaking researches in the field of Psychology, Philosophy & Religion, and Spirituality. She also provides counselling through Amity Students' Counselling Services and is in charge of the Psychology Laboratory.

Mr. Vijaysen Pandey is Research Associate in Amity Institute of Psychology and Allied Sciences. He has done his BA fro DDU Gorakhpur University and MA in Psychology with specialization in Clinical & Community Psychology form DDU Gorakhpur University . He is pursuing Ph. D. in Psychology from DDU Gorakhpur University . He has also qualified UGC NET for lectureships. Presented research paper in National Conferences and seminars. He has worked as a research assistant in the Dept. of Psychology (DSA) DDU Gorakhpur University Gorakhpur. Earlier he worked as a Junior Project Fellow in NCERT, New Delhi . His areas of interest are Clinical, Community & General Psychology.
