LITERATI '13

(FESTIVAL OF LANGUAGES)



Amity International School Sector 46, Gurgaon, on Saturday, the 31st of August, 2013, pioneered an exclusively language based Inter School Competition, with innovative events to attract enthusiastic participation from seventeen schools of the NCR region.

Ten events spanning across four languages, Hindi, English, Sanskrit and French saw fierce competition amongst schools vying for top honors in novel events. While Dubbomania and Director's Cut cashed in on the creative cells of participants, the Group Discussion and Hindi Debate drew out participant's argumentative skills. While the grey matter of participants was tested in the Literary Quiz Quest, rib tickling humor in the Hasya Kavi Sammelan had the audience and judges alike in peals of laughter. Eppelez Bien tested the spelling skills of participants and the love for drama found vent in the Nukkad Nataka and Curtain Call. Serious competition was provided with more laughter through the Hasya Laghu Natika conducted in Sanskrit.





The esteemed judges, eminent personalities from the world of literature and academics were impressed with the initiative and innovation of the Principal of the School Mrs. Arti Chopra and praised her for a perfectly planned and crafted event, its flawless conduct and impartiality. The Chairperson of Amity International Schools Dr. (Mrs.) Amita Chauhan expressed her unbridled delight at the festival's grand success. The spirited and exuberant yet involved performance, the intrepid stage presence, the eloquent yet intellectual perpetration of tasks assigned and the easy camaraderie which existed among the participants, in spite of rivalry, made this event a momentous occasion.
