MODMUN 2013 :



Modern School, Barakhambha Road, New Delhi, hosted a three day MUN Conference from the 31st October, to the 2nd of November, 2013 in their school. Our students represented New Zealand, Spain, Belarus and Madagascar, in committees like Historical General Assembly, UNDP, General Assembly, WTO and AIPPM. Satyajyoti Nanda and Vihan Singh of Class XI won the High Commendation Award along with a verbal mention to Vaishali Tikoo class IX and Yatin Gupta, class X. Mrs Arti Chopra, Principal of the school congratulated the students for their wonderful performance.

AIMUN 2013 :



Under the initiative of AERC, Delhi, Amity group of schools hosted a three day conference on Model United Nations from 21st Nov-23rd Nov at Amity University Campus Noida. A delegation of 20 students from AIS-46,Gurgaon represented Norway, Guatemala, Estonia and Libya, in prestigious committees like Security Council, Futuristic General Assembly, General assembly and UNESCO . It is a matter of great honor that, Satyajyoti Nanda of class XI was elected the President of the Security Council and Vihan Singh of class XI as Rapporteur of Futuristic General Assembly to conduct the sessions. Akash Anjan was awarded the best delegate of Security Council, while Yatin Gupta and Aditya Tripathi of UNFCC and UNESCO respectively walked away with the High commendation awards. Best position Paper award was bagged by Arsh Rampal and Angad Singh of HRC. Vaishali Tikkoo of HRC was not far behind and was appreciated through a verbal mention. Mrs Arti Chopra, Principal of the school congratulated the students for their brilliant efforts.

PRESIDIUM MUN 2013 :



Presidium School, Ashok Vihar, Delhi, hosted three days MUN Conference from 14th November to 16th November, 2013 at their school. Vihan Singh student of class XI, AIS-46, Gurgaon was selected to conduct the three day session as Vice-chair of the Disarmament and Security , Committee . Kishore Vasan, a student of class X was awarded the ‘Best Delegate Award’ for representing China in the committee Human Rights Council, Nabh khanna student of class XI won the High Commendation for representing Australia in DISEC while Anirudh Bansal of class X won the Special Mention Award for representing Denmark in DIESC. Vihan Singh was appreciated for his efforts with a plaque and a cash prize of Rs. 4000/- . . Mrs Arti Chopra, Principal of the school congratulated the students for their wonderful performance.
