Students of classes VI,VII and VIII perform experiments in the Science Activity Room where they learn science by the method of Learning By Doing. Each class come to the Science Activity Room every week as per regular study schedule. Learning is further enhanced by Hands On Activities related to everyday science. Students also get an opportunity to apply their innovative ideas and enjoy the unexplored vistas of science.
Class VI activities are like protein , starch and fats tests in the food items, solubility of substances, physical and chemical changes (burning of candle & melting of wax),observing
ovules under the microscope, directional property of bar magnet etc.
Class VII activities are test for starch in a leaf ,slides of stomata and bread mould under the
microscope, electromagnet , burning of magnesium ribbon etc.
Class VIII activities include reaction of sodium with water, measuring force of friction, displacement
reaction (iron nail in copper sulphate solution),slides of plant cell and animal cell etc.
This activity lab is equipped to cater to 45 students at a time. The lab is well ventilated with a lot of natural light.
Computer Lab
Students of classes VI,VII & VIII use the lab resources to learn to use different kinds of software to enhance their knowledge and showcase their creativity. Students use the lab according to their study schedule wherein each section uses the lab once a week. Each class is given a demo of the activity and then the students do it ‘hands on’.
Class VI works on Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, while class VII learns how to use the HTML codes to create web pages and then graduate to using the Dreamweaver software to further understand the creation of user friendly web pages. Class VIII works on Adobe flash and advanced flash the whole year and gains mastery over the usage of this software.
This lab can seat 45 students and is well ventilated with a lot of natural lighting. The computers in the lab are placed in such a way that the teacher is able to see the progress of each child on their individual monitors.
Math Lab
Maths lab helps the students to visualize the problem and arrive at the right solution. 3D modeling is used to enhance this ability. The identities are proved geometrically and derivations of formulae are arrived at by paper folding activities. Students also do project based activities during the year.
Classes VI to VIII use the resources of the math lab once a week.
A class of 45 students are seated in this lab. Students sit around hexagonal shaped desks. Each desk can accommodate 5-6 students at a time, making it convenient for group activities. It is a well ventilated room with lot of wall space to display student activities.

Physics Lab
Amity takes pride in the fact that it has the most spacious and very well equipped physics laboratory. The dimensions of the lab are 78x37ft. and can easily cater to 40 students. The work space in the form of 6 huge granite top tables and 2 side tables with racks, are all provided with sockets for electricity connection.
The lab has 3 rooms. One is for apparatus, the other is the dark room and the third is the teacher’s room where all physics teachers sit. A small library of physics books is also maintained in the lab.
Biology Lab
Biology laboratory of Amity International School, NOIDA is situated on the 3rd floor (D-Block) of the school.
It is large enough (52 Feet x 38 feet) to accommodate 40 students at a time, for performing the experiments (practical).
All instruments (microscopes, slides, stains, forceps, needle etc.), required for performing experiments (for classes IX to XII), are available in the lab.
The Laboratory is well equipped with Bunsen burners, sinks with taps, fire alarms and fire extinguishers etc.
Working instructions / precautions are well placed in Lab.
164 Charts, 224 Permanent Slides & 156 Preserved Specimens are there in the Lab. to provide the better understanding of the subject to the students.
A Lab Assistant and a Lab Attendant help the students, in addition to subject teachers, while performing experiments in the lab.

The work area is in the form of slabs with their individual connection of burner and all reagents and chemicals used during the experiments. It has a sufficiently good medical aid in case of injuries and accidents. The small but well equipped library within the lab provides necessary books to cater to instant needs.
