Felicitation Ceremony for the Achievers
Amity believes in recognizing talent and steers achievers towards higher level of excellence by appreciating their accomplishments. Chairperson Dr. Mrs. Amita Chauhan lauded the students and teachers who worked under the guidance of the Principal towards the epoch making CBSE result. The teachers and students were felicitated and treated to yummy McDonalds burger.

Saatvik Agarwal has joined the prestigious Stanford University. Five students have got admission into Delhi College of Engineering and there are many others in BITS, Thapar, MAHE, and other engineering colleges. We have students in the best colleges of Delhi University, Vellore and Singapore
Exhibition at amity (Ignited Sparks)
Amity Saket held a Science and Maths exhibition entitled ‘Ignited Sparks’ on 6th and 7th August 2006. Mr. RP Sharma, Education Officer Science, CBSE was the chief guest. Dr. Uttam Patti, Chairman Centre for Biotech, JNU and Dr. Hukkum Singh, HOD, Maths, NCERT were the guests of honour. True to its philosophy, Amity nurtured the talents of the young scientific minds by providing them a platform to showcase their amazing, innovative and ingenious skills.
Orientation Programmes ( separate link can be created for orientation)
Orientation programmes have been conducted for parents of students from Nursery, Kg, V and VI to acquaint them with the school system, curriculum and the teaching faculty. Dr Bina Nangia gave a talk on parenting skills to the nursery KG parents while teachers from the study center spoke about study skills, work ethics and time management to the parents of V and VI.
An orientation was held for parents of students from IX and XI where Mrs. Pronoti Coondoo discusses the problems and issues related to adolescence.
AMITASHA
To dream and strive indefatigably to translate vision into reality has been the raison deter of our philanthropic Chairperson, Dr. Amita Chauhan. Having fulfilled the Herculean task of providing education par excellence to the students community at large, our far-sighted Chairperson and our enlightened Founder, Dr. Ashok K. Chauhan have adopted the altruistic mission of championing the cause of the underprivileged girl child by starting the Amitasha Foundation in Amity Saket to provide education to the nurture the talents of less fortunate girl-child. The foundation aims at infusing hope in their bleak lives and make them confident, independent and self-reliant.
Starting with a small group of 35 students today Amitasha has 300 tiny hopefuls as students studying in Nursery, Classes I, II and III. Nutritious food in the form of health tonics, milk, biscuits, fruits and the like are distributed amongst the students on a daily basis. Regular medical check-ups are conducted and free books, stationery, bags, bottles, school uniforms, shoes, socks are provided to the students.
AMITIANS AS YOUNG AMBASSADORS
- Isha Gupta, a student of class XII has been an active Anti-Tobacco activitist with HRIDAY-SHAN a Delhi based NGO. She was invited by Reality Check, an NGO in New York, USA to attend a series of Anti-Tobacco conferences in New York, US Isha was the only Asian student attending the conferences.
- Teevrat Garg of Class XII was nominated as a global scholar to represent India at the summer session of the global young leaders conference in Washington DC and New York City.
TEACHER EXCHANGE PROGRAMMES
Mrs. Bharati Sharma, Mrs. Hemant Bedi and Mrs. Bandeep Chhabra visited Australia as apart of the Australia-India Teacher’s exchange program under the aegis of Asia Education Foundation and the Australia-India Council. The school hosted Mr. Luciano Bernes a teacher from Australia who had spent five months in AIS, Saket & interacted with our students giving them new ideas & approach towards the learning process. It’s a across culture exchange to enrich teachers of both the sides with new ideas, which they can further exploit and experiment with, to expand the horizon of students and give them a new, innovative approach towards life. Its all about cross fertilization of ideas and thoughts
