Principal’s Message

Amity International School, Sector-1, Vasundhara, began as a small unit with a strength of 1650 students in the year 2009 and has grown from strength to strength within a span of two years. At present we have a strength of 1650 students from Classes Nur-XII. Our mission is to provide an environment which helps the children to enhance their physical, mental, aesthetic and spiritual potential. Amity endeavors to provide not just pedantic learning but a genuine and holistic education in a stress free environment. Our aim is to equip the students to tread on the untrodden path with discipline and motivation to take success in their stride. To achieve success is one of the toughest challenges but I am sure the highly committed staff and students of Amity will be able to achieve it.

It is our commitment to turn out well integrated personalities who have a blend of innovative modernity and traditional ethos. Spiritual discourses in the form of Hawans, is an intrinsic part of Amity’s culture, help Amitians to face the fiercely competitive world through traditional Indian values. The guiding principle of the foundation is “Where modernity blends with tradition”.

The teaching methodology at Amity is contemporary which keeps the students and the staff abreast with the ever changing scenario. We constantly revamp, reinvent and evaluate the classroom teaching strategies. The use of technology is an integral part of our curriculum. We have an excellent resource centre, high-Tech labs for senior classes, smart boards, and lingua phones to hone linguistic skills. The recent feather in our cap is the PEC Programme (an integrated physical education programme, which would enhance the overall personality development of our children.

The world has become a Global Village. To enhance a cross fertilization of ideas we promote the Global Exchange Programmes. These help widen the students’ horizon and inculcate a spirit of tolerance, receptivity and openness to the cultural and spiritual heritage of the world. We treasure the faith and confidence that you repose in us.

Citizens of tomorrow are nurtured in the classrooms of today’ – with this firm belief our Chairperson Dr. Amita Chauhan have been empowering us with her inspirational support and guidance. This leads to form the basic premise of education that at the centre of all curriculum planning are the children. Thus all the academic and co-curricular activities of our school are geared towards equipping the young minds with the rationalism of the west with the idealism of the east.

“Every truth has four corners:
As a teacher, I give you one,
It is for you to find the other three”
