Amity organizes regular international programsto give an international dimension to their regular curriculum,through students and faculty exchange programs with many countries like USA (in collaboration with the US State Department), UK, Germany, Sweden, France, Denmark, New Zealand, Australia, Japan etc.

Exchange Programmes 2018 – 2019

Swiss inbound program

Date: October 3-13, 2018
A Swiss delegation comprising nine High school students and four faculty members from Kanton Shule Wettingen, Switzerland, visited for nine days. They stayed with host families of Amity students during the period and visited historical places in Delhi and Agra. They learnt Madhubani art, applying Mehndi, reciting Gayatri Mantra, odissi dance and yoga. They also interacted with the students of Amitasha and paid a visit to Swiss embassy.

Exchange Programmes 2017 – 2018

YES Abroad Program

Date: July 2017 – May 2018
The school hosted Alexander Aurin from USA for 10 month Kennedy Lugar Youth Exchange and Study (YES) Abroad program, sponsored by the US Department of State. During the 10 month long academic program he studied humanities subjects, learnt chess, yoga, vocal music, Indian Art, cooked Indian dishes in the home science classes and participated in a number of school activities. He was hosted by Class X student Archit Mathur and his family under whose care and guidance he experienced the Indian culture, cuisine and warmth of Indians and did community service in an old age home. He also experienced travelling to various places in Delhi and India including Rajasthan and Kerala.

Japanese Cultural Exchange Programme 2015-16


Date:January 2016

Six students along with school Principal Renu Singh participated in an educational conference at the Rits Super Global Forum 2015. The conference, organised by Ritsumeikan High School, Kyoto, Japan gave opportunity to students to learn about Japanese school and education system, their culture, cuisine and various specialiaites.

Swiss Cultural Exchange Program


Date: October 4 to 13, 2016

The school hosted 10 High school students comprising 8 girls and 2 boys, along with 3 faculty members from Kanton Shule Wettingen, Switzerland, for a period of 10 days. The students experienced the warmth and hospitality of the host families, savoured Indian food, visited historical places in Delhi and Agra, shopped Indian goods, applied henna on the hands, participated in the Dusshera celebrations including Dandia and much more. At school, they created their own stoles using the technique Tie and Dye (Bandhni), learnt the Gayatri Mantra, shared the common culture, education and life situations through different activities and discussions. They has also spent time with Amitasha students, a school for less privileged girl children run by Amity.

The faculty members had a wonderful experience conducting teaching sessions for students of Classes X and XI.

Exchange Programmes 2011 – 2015

5th SWISS CULTURAL EXCHANGE PROGRAM
(September 30 to October 10, 2015)

The school played host for 10 days to 10 girls and 2 faculty from Kantonsshule, Wettingen, Switzerland as part of the 5th Swiss Cultural exchange program. During the stay, the delegates were taken out for sightseeing of Delhi and Agra. They were also given an insight into Indian music and dance namely the Punjabi folk dance, chanting of Gayatri mantra, Madhubani & Worli art etc. The delegates took session in physics, musical aerobics class.

Swiss Exchange Program
(September 30 - October 10, 2014)

AIS Noida hosted a group of 7 girl students and 3 faculty members from Kanton Shule Wettingen, Switzerland for a Swiss exchange programme. During their stay with host families, the Swiss delegation got to experience great affection, warmth, Indian food, colourful Indian wear and festive culture.

They visited Humayun’s tomb, India Gate, Red Fort and Chandni Chowk. They also took an overnight trip to Fatehpur Sikri and Tajmahal at Agra along with faculty members of AIS Noida. They learnt about Indian art forms and teaching methodology during their interactions with students of AIS and AGS.


Cross-Cultural Program- Swiss Delegation 2013

A delegation of 8 students and 3 faculties from Kanton Shule, Switzerland visited India on a cross cultural program and were hosted by the senior students of the school from October 1 to 12, 2013. Apart from visiting heritage and historical sites in Delhi, the delegation was exposed to Indian culture too.

NSLI-Y US Department of State SponsoredSummer-Hindi Language Program 2013

This programme is conducted by AFS, India which endeavors to equip students to be well versed in Hindi by the end of the program duration. They undergo a four hours training each day. By the end of the programme, they will attain the intermediate level in Hindi.

A group of 15 NSLI, US Department of state sponsored students visited India and were hosted by senior students of the school for 6 weeks between July 4 toAugust 15,2013. They participated in a Hindi language learning cultural immersion programme, where along with language learning skills the students are also given an insight into Indian culture, cuisine and hospitality.

Student Exchange Program- Switzerland 2012

Nicole Wacker from KantonShule Switzerland conducted a 10 weeks community service program from October to December 2012, with Amitasha students (a school for less privileged girl children). She was hosted by a senior student Tanvi Gupta of Amity International School, Noida.She was also exposed to Indian music and culture during this period of the program.

YRoNS Foreign Exchange Programme

The programme was organized in April 2012 where students from Slovenia worked on scientific researches with their Indian/Amitian counterparts. Many of them were hosted by Amity students and their families.

Lead America-Leadership Conference

Venika Menon,Avni Gupta and Nikita Khurana of AIS Noida participated in LeadAmerica-Leadership Conference at Columbia University, New York, USA from August 1-5, 2012. The conference promoted healthy interaction and facilitated sharing of diverse ideas. Nikita Khurana received an award for excellence in Public Speaking by the LeadAmerica organizers.

Slovenian delegation visit

Mr.Borut the headmaster of Gimnazija Jurija Vege Idrija, Slovenia accompanied by 8 students, visited Amity on a cultural exchange program for one week from April 9 to 16, 2012. The delegation was given complete exposure of Indian hospitality, warmth, culture, food, lifestyle, language etc. They were taken to various tourist places in and around Delhi by their respective host families. The echange students were familiarized with the school and its various resources. They learnt pranayama, yoga and chanting of shlokas.

German exchange program

In July 2011 students namely Shalki Sharma, Sanchi Jindala and Tushar Mathur visited Jawahar Lal Nehru School, Neustrelitzin Germany for a fortnight to spend time with the students.

1 Year YES Program to Japan

Medhavi Arora, Class XI student of the school visited Japan under one year YES (Youth Exchange and Study) program.Under the program, Medhavi attended school at AizuGakuho Senior High School, from April 1 to February 6, 2011.

HP Innovation In Education (IIE) - A Flagship program of ISTE

The school participated in an HP programme that offered grant to integrate technology in the classroom. The project titled ‘Interactive Smart Class - learn with fun’, was represented at ISTE 2011 (International Society for Technology in Education) under poster session at Philadelphia PA, USA and won thePeople's Choice Award from HP IIE initiative. The project was represented by Dr. J.S.Sodhi and Ms.Kirti Tripathi of Amity Noida at the Convention Hall, Philadelphiaon June 28, 2011.

Visit to Hong Kong to attend Science fair

A team of students from AIS Noida participated in a science fair organized at Hong Kong from October 8 to10,2011 at Cyber port. Different projects were put on display by different countries in the fair. The project on generating Biogas using kitchen waste by team AIS Noida won a bronze medal.
