News

  • The project of Tanmay Pharlia (Class XII) has been selected for IGNITE competition by National Innovation Foundation India under the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India. The project deals with a new method to generate and supply electricity in an economical and eco friendly manner.
  • One of our project ‘ Creation of self designed mazes for Autistic people to map their analytical skills ‘ by Akshat Gupta and Tanya Talwar got selected for IRIS 2017. The project got selected out of 30,000 projects all over India and came in 75 shortlisted projects. Out of 70 projects hailing from all parts of the country 20 were selected amongst which was our esteemed school, Amity International School Pushp Vihar and will be going for ISEF 2018 to Pittsburg, USA.
  • The project idea titled “An Ecofriendly 3 Layered Mask” as a solution to air pollution is patented in the name of Amity International School, Pushp Vihar. Shivam Mukherjee of Class VI was interviewed by CNN for his Innovative Project.
  • A space settlement designing project organized by the Atlantis group, in association with NASA. It has primary levels namely the Indian national round, with those qualified moving on to the Asian round. The final segment will be an international level and would be conducted at NASA, United States of America. Students from Amity International, Pushp Vihar bagged second runners up position at Indian National round and have qualified for the Asian semi final round to be held in January 2018.
  • YES ABROAD PROGRAMME is sponsored by the U.S. Department of State, Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs for US students on full scholarships to study for one academic year in countries with significant Muslim populations. This year we have Colin Reece Crawley a 17 year old staying with us for duration of 10 months.
  • Investiture Ceremony was held on February 9, 2017.
  • Citation ceremony was celebrated for the batch of 2017 on February 8, 2017.
  • Manan Rai won the Grand Award at Intel IRIS National Science Fair held at the Indian Institute of Science and Engineering Research (IISER), Pune, from December 21-23, 2016.
  • The school bagged the Overall Rolling Trophy 2016-17 for Robotronics an inter-school Robo-Tech championship held at AIS Gurgaon 46 on December 17, 2016.
  • Archit Boobna of Class X C won a Gold medal at the 13th IJSO (International Junior Science Olympiad) held at Bali, Indonesia from December2-10, 2016.
  • The school was selected one amongst 27 schools form over 6000 applications to receive a grant for setting up of (ATL) Atal Tinkering Labs in schools by Niti Aayog that aims to 'Cultivate one Million children in India as Neoteric Innovators'.
  • aibhav Bajaj of Class XII ranked 7th in the 18h International Brain Bee finals held at Denmark.
  • Saumya Chauhan (VI A) participated in YRONS – Dubai 2016 and presented her project titled 3 Way Solution for the Needy.
  • The school secured First position, in E- Paper presentation under the theme: Changing life style technology - A Boon, held at Amity International School Noida.
  • Aryan Arora bagged third prize at City Level Science fair 2016 for ROBOVAC project.
  • Team PV won the Future Young Entrepreneurs Award 2016 for their project Peekabook.
  • Kirti Wadhwa, Pulkit Agarwal, Archit Kapoor, Pragun Sondhi bagged the 4th Position and Special Honorable Mention at KWHS Investment Competition Global finale held at The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.
  • Students won Silver and Bronze in U-12 at the 26 th ANAC International Aerobic Championship held at Southern California in Northern San Diego, CA from July 28-31, 2016.

Senior Annual Day on 30th Nov 2017.  Sunshine Winter Carnival on 2nd December 2017.  One of our project ' Creation of self designed mazes for Autistic people to map their analytical skills ' by Akshat Gupta and Tanya Talwar got selected for IRIS 2017. The project got selected out of 30,000 projects all over India and came in 75 shortlisted projects. Out of 70 projects hailing from all parts of the country 20 were selected amongst which was our esteemed school, Amity International School Pushp Vihar and will be going for ISEF 2018 to Pittsburg, USA. Bazinga(Finals) and Physics Quiz (IX – XII) from 6th Nov – 9th Nov 2017. AIMUN is from 16th Nov – 18th Nov 2017. Amity Pushp Vihar team qualifies for the National Level Space Settlement Design competition. Team leaves for 4 days long competition from 2nd Nov 2017 – 5th Nov 2017. INSEF REGIONAL FAIR held on 13th October 2017. AISPV bagged SILVER MEDAL Project Titled “Robotic hand & leg for Amputees Qualified” at Junior National Fair- Rajkot and AISPV bagged GOLD MEDAL Project Titled “An innovative caring cane for visually impaired with digital technological solutions” at Senior National Fair – Banglore. At INSEF REGIONAL FAIR Special Honourable Mention of AIS PV 3 major projects titled : “Autonomous Robot For Visually Impaired”, “Creating Self Designed Mazes for Autistic People to map their Analytical skills” and “A low cost alert based mechanism for gas leakage”. Manan Rai of class 12th, participated with the project “TACo: Think And Converse device” and won the Grand Award. Now he will be a part of Team India for the Intel International Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF) 2017 to be held in Los Angeles, USA. He also won a Special Award from the American Psychological Association. Aradhya drew with a Grand Master and an International Master and won against 2 Fide Masters. Aradhya gained 28 rating points at Groningen, Aradhya’s game was judged the best game of the round. Class XII School Average 2016-17: 87.32%. Class XII Overall Topper 2016-17 are Ansh Aggarwal 97.6%, Tanushree Dutta 97%, Samarth Singhal 96.6% and Pranav Gupta 96.6%. Class XII Commerce Topper 2016-17: Ansh Aggarwal 97.6%. Class XII Science Topper 2016-17: Samarth Singhal 96.6% and Pranav Gupta 96.6%. Class XII Humanities Topper 2016-17: Tanushree Dutta 97% Swapnil Bansal, Pranav Gupta, Arsh Verma secured 100% marks in Chemistry. Ansh Aggarwal and Tanushree Dutta secured 100% marks in Economics. Tanya Rajwanshi secured 100% marks in Fine Arts. Class X School Average 2016-17: 9.14%. Class X no of students with grade point Average 10 in 2016-17: 59 students out of 183. Class X 2016-17: 171/183 students got distinction.
