Kashika Khanna of Class VIII scored 2 Gold in Lead & Speed Climbing, U-16 Girls Junior Category, Mehul Sharma of Class IX recieved Bronze medal for Speed Climbing, U-16 Boys Category and Ashman Madan received Bronze Medal for Lead Climbing, U-16, Junior Boys Category in the 2nd Interschool Sports Championship 2018 organised by Salwan Public School, Mayur Vihar.

Champions at 14th Kotakas Cup

Date : April 28-29, 2018
The schools karate team won the overall school championship at the 14th Kotakas Cup, All India Karate Tournament 2018 held at Talkatora Indoor Stadium. The team bagged 10 Gold medals, 12 Silver medals and 24 Bronze medals.

National Karate Champion

Karate champion Shivanand Chandrasekar of Class XII won Gold Medal in National Karate Championship organized by Karate Association of India held at Talkatora Indoor Stadium. He was also selected for the Asian Karate Championship to be held at Okinawa, Japan in May 2018.

Senior Sports Day

The Sports Day titled ‘Fitness Extravaganza’ was celebrated with great aplomb. The chief guest Col Ahluwalia, Sports Advisor, Amity Schools inaugurated the sports meet by lighting the torch, releasing balloons and pigeons in the air. School Principal Divya Bhatia presented a report on the academic session 2017-18. The Scottish Band for the first time marched along with the four houses. The meet concluded with a tug of war between the school staff. Alaknanda house came first in march past while Bhagirathi house came first in the mass drill.

Delhi State Karate Championship

Karate Champs Shivanand Chandrasekhar (Class XII) won a gold medal while Umang Arora (Class XII) and Triyan Pratibimb (Class VIII) won bronze medals in the Delhi State Karate Championship at Talkatora Indoor Stadium held on December 3, 2017.

US Open Karate Championship

Karanvir Choudhary and Shivanand Chandrasekar of Class XII represented India and won Gold medals in the championship held at Las Vegas, USA wherein participants from over 47 countries took part.

Shivanand Chandrashekhar of Class XII won Gold medal in 62nd SGFI School Games National Karate Championship organized at Directorate of Education from January 2-9, 2017

As part of inter-house sports, a climbing competition was organised by AIS Saket. The participants were specially trained for the unique competition. The competition saw the participation of 85 students from Class IV-IX in three categories - Sub Jr Boys & Girls (Class IV-V), Junior Boys & Girls (Class VI-VII) and Senior Girls (Class VIII-IX). Kashika Khanna (VI C) of Pawani House won the competition, fetching the title of the Best Climber of the Year 2016-17. Ishan Sharma (IV B) of Mandakini House won the first runner up and Mehul Sharma (VII B) of Bhagirathi House secured the second runner up position. The overall winner was Bhagirathi house.

Karanvir Choudhary, a student of Class XI E, AIS Saket brought laurels for the school by winning bronze medal in karate at ‘World School Games’ held on July 13, 2016 in Trabzon, Turkey. A total of nine girls and ten boys, including Karanvir, were selected for the Indian karate team. Karanvir represented India in Under 19 plus 82 kilos category. School Principal Divya Bhatia congratulated Karanvir on his stupendous achievement, and wished him luck for his future endeavours.
