Eligibility for admission is:

a) For BA (Tourism Administration) 10+2 in any discipline with minimum 50%.

b) For MA (Tourism Administration) graduation in any discipline with minimum 45%.

Formal dress code is compulsory both for boys and girls as per the notification of Chancellor, AUUP.

  • No study material or books are provided to the students, however Amity Institute of Travel and Tourism has a rich library having more than 250 books placed in the common library of ‘D’ block along with specialized books on management, hospitality and mass communication. Besides students are also given handouts from time to time to supplement the class room teaching.
  • Students enrolled in BA (Tourism Administration) have to undergo training (arranged by CRC of the institute) after the 2 nd and 4 th semester for a period of 2 months. On the completion of the course assistant in finding a suitable job is provided by the CRC. The 1 st batch of BA (Tourism Administration) were provided the opportunity to get on the job training in companies like: Orbit Tours & Trade Fairs Pvt. Ltd., Travel Corporation of India, Delhi Tourism & Transport Development Corporation, Balmer Lawrie, Travel Oyester, Thomas Cook, Carlson Wagonlit, New High Fly Travels, Concord Travels etc.

For the students enrolled in MA (Tourism Administration) internship is arranged by the CRC of the institute for a period of 2 months in the 3 rd Semester. The 1 st batch of MA (Tourism Administration) is placed in companies like Orbit Tours and Trade Fairs Pvt. Ltd., Tracs Representation and Mercury Travels with an average pay of Rs.15,000/- per month and the 2 nd batch has completed their on the job training with companies like Mercury Travels (MHE), Tracs Representation, Orbit Tours & Trade Fairs Pvt. Ltd., Mercury Travels, Cox & Kings & Sita India.

During the internship the students persuing BA (Tourism Administration) are paid an honorarium of Rs.4,000 to Rs.5,000/- and for MA (Tourism Administration) an honorarium of Rs.6,000/- is offered by the recruiters.

Maximum number of students:

MA (Tourism Administration) 60 students in each class.

BA (Tourism Administration) 30 students in each class.

Scholarship schemes are as per the provisions of Amity University Uttar Pradesh.

  • Details of Admission procedure:
  • For admission in BA (Tourism Administration) all eligible aspirants will be called for a test of English (writing skills) and personal interview by the board.
  • For admission in MA (Tourism Administration) all eligible aspirants have to appear in AMCAT / MAT followed by group discussion and personal interview.

The courses of Amity Institute of Travel and Tourism commencesses from 1 st week of August of every calander year.
