Director's Message


Amity Law School, during the eight years of its existence has earned recognition and repute among the legal fraternity through its achievements in academic, co-curricular and extra-curricular activities. The students have excelled themselves in moot court activities, debates and declamation contests and have secured commendable prizes in various competitions organized by institutions and universities all over the country. The school has made inroads in the international arena also by its presence in the International Moot Court Competitions at the Stetson University College of Law at Florida, USA, the Philip C. Jessup Moot Court Competition, Washington, DC.,USA, and the Willem C. Vis. International Commercial arbitration Competition, Vienna & Hong Kong.

In placement activities also, the performance of the Law School has been excellent. All the students who have cleared LLB(Hons) Programme have secured final placement with renowned lawyers, law firms, law offices and NGOs in India and some of them in Singapore, Dubai and UK. A large number of students have secured admission in reputed Law Schools / Universities abroad.

The vision of the Amity Law School as envisioned by its Founder President, Dr. Ashok. K. Chauhan is to provide excellence in legal education and to produce quality lawyers. This vision of his has been achieved to a large extent through concerted efforts of the faculty, staff and the students during the short span of its existence. The subsequent batches are also trying not only to maintain the standard but also to improve it. It is quite encouraging to note that in the survey conducted by India Today in 2006 and 2007, Amity Law School has been ranked as one of the Top-10 Law Schools in the country.

I congratulate you, the new batch of students for securing admission in Amity Law School and welcome all of you in our midst.

You have successfully crossed the first hurdle of passing the entrance test; what is now required from you is consistent hard work and devotion to realize your goal of becoming a successful member of the legal profession.
