CONGRATULATIONS!!
A team comprising Sameeksha Chowla and Girik Bhalla, IV Year Students of Amity Law School, Delhi participated in The Annual Oxford University India Research Paper Competition 2013-14.
The event was organised in furtherance of Oxford’s over-arching research objective to lead the international agenda across the University’s disciplinary spectrum and make significant contributions to the society, regionally, nationally and internationally, through the fruits of research. The Research Paper Competition was designed to encourage intellectual discourse in wider society as well as to give Indian students an opportunity to exhibit their knowledge of contemporary business and social areas in India.
The event saw participation from various prestigious institutions of the country.
We are delighted to announce that this team has been declared as the WINNER of the Competition (see here). The team also presented their paper on “Should Gambling on the Outcome of Sporting Events Be Legalized in India?” at The Annual Oxford India Summit held at the India International Centre, Delhi from 14th-16th March, 2014.
We wish them the best for all their future endeavors.
