Ms. Saleha specializes in Corporate Law from Jamia Milia Islamia, New Delhi and a Gold Medalist. She has research interests in personal laws. Before joining Amity University she was teaching in Institute of Professional Excellence and Management (IPEM), Ghaziabad. She had taught to LL.B as well as BBA, MBA and PGDM Students. In 2010 she worked as an Associate Lawyer with the Sales Tax Lawyer in M/S R.K.Dewan. She also worked as an Intern at Human Rights Law Network (HRLN), NGO, at New Delhi.

She is a regular participant of National and International Seminars, and had presented a Paper and written few academic articles.

Dr.Komal Vig
Assistant Professor – III
LL.B. & LL.M. (Criminal Laws and Criminology), MBA (Human Resources), LL.D (Law)

Dr. Komal specializes in Criminal Laws and has interdisciplinary research interests in criminology, sociology and management.  Her teaching and general research involves Criminal laws, women and child laws, criminology and family laws. She has achieved President Award for Bharat scouts and Guides (1992) and Best Teacher Award at Kamkus college of Law (2011). Before joining Amity University, Noida.  Dr. Komal has more than 9 years of experience in Higher education and Research in Law. She has previously taught in Integrated School of law, Ghaziabad; Royal college of law, Ghaziabad and Kamkus college of Law, Ghaziabad. She has also served as guest faculty for business Laws at Sunderdeep Institute of Management and Technology, Ghaziabad.

While working with different law schools, Dr. Komal has organized several legal-aid camps for the people who belong to poor, needy and socially or economically backward classes.  She has conducted many Moot Courts for the practical training of law students and a Mock Parliament for creating awareness and participation of students in politics of the country. She has also organized many Seminars on Socio Legal Issues for an intellectual discussion and suggests reforms in the governmental policy. She has attended many workshops and Faculty Development programs for updating her knowledge and improving teaching skills and methods. She had been on the panel of Uttrakhand Technical University as paper setter (2012-14). She has assisted in conducting University Examinations, projects and research work. Among other official responsibilities, she is Program leader, IQAC member, Stream Coordinator (Crime and Criminology), Examination Moderator and member of various institutional committees.

Among her distinguished paper presentations were at Centre of Culture and Development, Vadodara, Gujarat (2015); National Law University, Jodhpur, Rajasthan (2015); RML National Law University, Lucknow, UP (2015); RG National University of law, Patiala, Punjab (2015). Dr. Komal has published in national and international journals and periodicals. Dr. Komal is Research guide to one student also and she is interested in reforms in Indian legal education and criminal justice system.

Mr. Nikhil Kashyap

Mr. Nikhil specializes in intellectual property law and Cyber Laws.  His teaching and general research involves intellectual property law, competition law, international trade law, cyber laws, evidence law, arbitration laws etc. Before joining Amity University, Mr. Nikhil was Research Assistant with Delhi Judicial Academy, New Delhi, where he headed the research wing of Delhi Judicial Academy which is a premier institute under the leadership of High Court of Delhi that provides training to the Judges of subordinate courts of Delhi. He was also Law Researcher at Delhi Judicial Academy. He has also worked as a guest faculty for more than a year at Apex Law Institute, New Delhi.

Mr. Nikhil has 5 publications to his credit. He has published his papers in various reputed online and offline journals. His main areas of publications are Intellectual Property Rights, Constitutional Law etc. He has also presented research papers in various renowned universities of India.

In 2015, Mr. Nikhil attended the Professional Training Workshop on Intellectual Property Law Practice & Public Interest Advocacy’ organized by IBA Chair on Continuing Legal Education National Law School of India University, Bangalore & Menon Institute of Legal Advocacy Training, Trivandrum in association with Amity Law School, Noida.

Mr. Nikhil has also worked as a rapporteur in ‘The International Conference on IPR’ organized by United States Patent and Trademark office, in collaboration with Delhi Judicial Academy’ and ‘The International Seminar on Global Environment & Disaster Management: Law & Society’ held at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi.

Ms. Priyanka Ghai

Ms. Priyanka specializes in Constitutional Law & Human Rights and has interdisciplinary research interests in Comparative Constitutional Law and various arenas under the corpus of Human Rights.  Her teaching and general research involves Educational Rights & Law, Child Marriage, and Constitutional Law. Before joining Amity University Uttar Pradesh, Noida, Ms. Ghai is an alumnus of National Law University, Delhi.

During her period of study, she has under gone various internships in High Court of Delhi. She has also interned twice under National Commission for Protection of Child Rights (NCPCR). She has also presented various papers on Human Rights and allied areas. She is keen in research on Human Rights and written mainly on Right to Education, Human Rights vis-à-vis IPR etc.

Her dissertation topic was ‘Right To Education: An Analysis’. She has two publications to her credit in the reputed/ Peer reviewed journal. One of the article is titled as ‘Strategies for Value Education’ published in ICSSR Sponsored National Seminar Proceedings on Value Education for Human Development with ISBN No. 978-92-80135-42-7 and  another article on ‘Non Traditional Trademarks: An Unprotected Arena’ published in Law Mantra Online Journal, Volume 2, Issue 9 with I.S.S.N No. 2321 6417.

Ms. Tanu Sachdeva carries more than 6 years of teaching experience & is associated with Amity University since 2014. She is a double degree post graduate with full-time MBA (Marketing & IT) from BIMM, Sri Balaji Society (Pune) and M.Com from PRSU (Raipur).

Before joining Amity Law School Centre II, Noida, she has worked with DIMAT (Raipur), Sri Balaji Society (Pune) and also taught as a guest faculty at several esteemed institutes. She specializes in Commerce & Management subjects with core expertise in Financial Accounting, Managerial Economics, and Marketing Management. Furthermore, she is entrusted as an Additional Superintendent of Examination at Amity Law School Centre II.

Ms. Tanu Sachdeva is currently pursuing PhD to analyze the contribution of state excise duty in Economic growth and development.

She is the author of six research papers, five published in renowned international journals and one in distinguished national journal. She also holds a Diploma in Personnel Management and Industrial Relations from All India Institute of Management Studies.

Ms. Vaijayanti Banerjee

Ms. Vaijayanti specializes in Modern Indian History and has research interests in Gender Relations in Partition of India, Partition literature and concepts of Nationalism.  Her teaching and general research involves Indian Legal History and European History along with contemporary literature on Partition of India. Before joining Amity University, Noida, Ms. Vaijayanti was a Research Scholar in Jamia Millia Islamia University and visiting faculty at Amity University.

Her thesis in M.Phil was on the topic ‘How Nationalism and Nations are Imagined in a Gendered Way in Contemporary Literature on The Partition of India’. She qualified her UGC NET JRF in the year 2009.  

Ms. Vaijayanti completed Master of Arts (M.A), in History from Delhi University, Lady Shri Ram College, New Delhi. She specialized in Modern Indian History. She was ranked 1st  in Modern Indian History, M.A. (Final) Examination, South Campus, Delhi   University, 2008-09. She was also ranked 1st in the M.A. (Previous) Examination, South Campus, Delhi University, 2007-08.

Dr. Sumitra Singh is a very dynamic, young and energetic academician with varied and interdisciplinary interests. Her teaching and general research involves teaching Business Communication to PG courses and Communication/General English/Legal English to UG courses at the University. Before joining Amity University, Dr. Sumitra Singh was working with Global Centre of Languages of which she also happened to be the founding member. She was associated with media houses as a free   lancer too.

Sumitra Singh has a penchant for Social work. Apart from being the Coordinator of Human Values and Community Outreach Programme at Amity University, she herself gets involved in Community activities and works with various NGOs along with her students.

She has presented research papers in more than 65 national and international conferences. She has written a book titled ‘Happiness through Spirituality’ and has contributed chapters in various books on English Literature.  She has won two National Prizes at the University level for Debating at National Youth Parliament( Lucknow University, 2001/2003) and was also awarded as the Best Company Leader in Rovers and Rangers Camp at the University. She was awarded the “Young Scientist  Award 2011” by International college of Nutrition for her research on “ Ancient methodology in post partem nutrition and use of Ayurveda”. She was also the “ International interview Skills trainer “ at IYF , Korea , 2012 held at New Delhi.

Her interdisciplinary research has also got her 5 patents filed with the Govt. of India in the area of herbal medicine. She has been regularly invited by institutes like  V.V Giri National Labour Institute, NOIDA and Centre for Education Growth and Research , New Delhi  to conduct Sessions on Communication Skills and Leadership.

Presently Sumitra Singh is pursuing a certificate course in Western Classical Music from Yale University

Before joining Amity University, Lekha Rani Singh was working with ICFAI National College, Indore as a Lecturer (English and Soft Skills).

Lekha Rani Singh has a penchant for Social work. Apart from being the Coordinator of Human Values and Community Outreach Programme at Amity University, she herself gets involved in Community activities and works with various NGOs along with her students.

She has presented Research Papers in many National and International Conferences. Her Research Papers are published in leading National and International Journals. Many of the Conferences and Workshops she has organized herself both at Amity University and ICFAI. She has been a Resource Person for Personality Development and Team Building activities. Her expertise lies in grooming the students for the Corporate world by conducting Group Discussions and Mock Interviews sessions at the University. Amit Dhall has cleared U.P. Common Eligibility Test-PhD 2012 conducted by Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Awadh University, Faizabad and has applied for registration for LL.D at the CCS University, Meerut. He completed his M.B.A  in 2012 Financial management securing first division and P.G. Diploma in Corporate Laws and Management from Indian Law Institute in 2006,MBA (Finance) from IGNOU in 2012. He completed his LL.M (Mercantile Law) from Ch. Charan Singh University, Meerut in 2004

Ms. Mini Srivsatava

Ms. Mini Srivastava did LL.M. from Indian Law Institute (ILI) in Constitutional Law and Criminal Law and PG Diploma in Human Rights, Humanitarian Law and Refugee Law from Indian Society for International Law (ISIL). Besides, she is UGC NET and UGC NET/JRF qualified. Her academic stint at Amity Law School Centre II is her first teaching experience. Besides teaching, she has participated and presented papers at various conferences seminars, workshops and faculty development programmes.

Her previous work experience includes nearly six years of multidimensional work experience in the Legal Process Outsourcing Industry where she handled several positions such as Associate, Senior associate, Trainer, Team Leader (Training, Learning and Development) and Team Leader (Operations). At the beginning of her career, she was specially chosen for Train the Trainer program at Manila (Philippines) and learnt the finer nuances of US legal system by US Attorneys. Since then, she has trained more than 250-300 lawyers on Indian and US Legal System.

Eventually as she was moving up the ladder, she realized that she was going away from law and getting into management role. However, her deep interest lies in training/teaching as well as researching in law. Hence, she has joined academics and plans to remain in it for life.

Dr. Brundaban Mishra

Before joining Amity University Dr. Mishra was teaching at BML Munjal University, Gurgaon [2015-16] and University of Delhi [2014-15]. He was JSPS Postdoctoral fellow to Kyoto University, Japan (2011-2013). He has obtained Ph.D from Jawaharlal Nehru University, India (2011). He was a Senior Research Associate to Global Institute for Tomorrow, Hong Kong and Research Associate to Centre de Sciences Humanies [French Ministry of Foreign Affairs, New Delhi], and Department of Culture Government of India.

His areas of research expertise are Global and Legal History, Cultural Anthropology, Sociology, Religion and Politics, State Formation and Social Transformation and Language Policy and Politics of Identity with a geographical focus on India and South Asia. His study primarily focuses on the regional state formation, method of legitimacy and transformation of society under different political milieu. He has published number of article in international and national journal. He is on track to submitting his postdoctoral research work as a monograph to Rutledge with a tentative title "State and Society in Early Modern Orissa".
