Legal Aid & Literacy Camp
Legal Aid and Literacy Cell is one of the prominent committee of Amity Law School, Centre-II which has been extensively engaged in the activities of creating awareness amongst the people about law and its related aspects. The aforesaid activities are done as per the requirements of Legal Education.

Samadhan, an initiative of Legal Aid and Literacy Cell active since 2011 is now all set to focus on the areas relating to "FUNDAMENTAL RIGHTS & DUTIES along with RIGHT TO HEALTHY ENVIRONMENT" and further to create awareness among people about "SEXUAL OFFENCES AGAINST WOMEN".

Events of the Academic Session 2015-16

  1. On 23rd of July, 2015, Legal Aid and Literacy Committee of Amity Law School, Centre II. Amity University, Noida , U.P has organised awareness camp at primary government school at Nithari village, Noida, Sector 31. The programme has witnessed immense participation of students and faculty members of primary government school. Further, students of the school have performed cultural activities as well.

  2. On 16th of September, 2015, Legal Aid and Literacy Committee of Amity Law School, Centre II. Amity University, Noida , U.P has organised awareness camp at Baratghar in Makanpur Village, Indrapuram. The programme has witnessed immense participation of students and faculty members of primary government school. Further, students of the school have performed cultural activities as well. The main agenda of the programme was to focus on areas relating Fundamental Rights & Duties, Right to Healthy Environment & Sexual Abuse of Women and Children.

  3. The legal Awareness and Literacy Committee of Amity Law School, Centre-II, including faculty members and student members reached the school premises well on time at 09:00 AM on 9th of October, 2015. The team was duly welcomed by the principal of the school and was asked to start with the programme. The principal of school has extended welcome address and School Head Girl briefed about the program to the students & Faculty Members.

Other Activities

  1. Visiting Reform istitutions like Tihar Jail andand dadri jail and other corrective institution with students.

  2. Visiting to Supreme Court for Practle analysis of the courtroom.

  3. Visiting Juvenile reform homes.
