ACTIVITIES

The activities at Amitasha have been designed to ensure the overall personality development of these children. The activities at the school range from introducing our girls to art and craft, music, dance and drama. Workshops and cultural events to encourage and explore the hidden potential of these children in respective field are organized from time to time.

Activities Outside Amitasha School
Amity Humanity Foundation has been working to raising Corporate Sponsorships, and organizing events to fulfill the monetary requirements. The following are the activities that have been undertaken so far:

EVENTS

January 2003
Amity Institute of Actuarial Sciences in Aid of Amitasha organized cricket Match. Teams from various MNCs such as Aviva Life, Bajaj Alliance, Birla Sunlife, HDFC Standard Life, ICICI Pru, IFFCO- TOKIO, Max New York Life, Met Life, Royal Sundaram, Tata AIG and many other insurance players had participated. Former Indian Cricket Team Captain Mr. Kapil Dev was the Chief
Guest.

December 2002
Amity Humanity Foundation in Association with India Today group organized two Special Charity Shows of the movie Die Another Day, to create awareness about Amitasha and Amity Humanity Foundation, whereby Advertisements in the afternoon newspaper "Today” were carried out. People from various Corporate Houses, Media and Intellectuals were invited for the show.

December 2002
Amity Humanity Foundation organized a special screening of the movie Makdee, in Association with Department of Social Welfare, where children from various NGOs based in and around Delhi enjoyed the movie along with the Chief Minister of Delhi, Ms. Sheila Dixit. She opined such shows are provide necessary recreation for these children and also help to get across various social messages, which otherwise would remain undelivered.
