The Amity Polytechnic for Women (APW) has been established recently with a view to empower the women of our country by training them in such vocations that assist them in gaining employment in an industry of their choice, or become entrepreneurs. The Polytechnic, aims at imparting them vocational training that enables them to earn a good and respectable livelihood, project themselves as useful citizens, be of financial help to their families resulting in their better standard of living. The courses, therefore, train the students as per the updated requirement of the industry to facilitate their prompt placement.
The course contents are designed to ensure that the students are given a right mix of theoretical and practical training by dedicated and motivated faculty, with the latest training aids, to mould them into thorough, proficient professionals in their fields. A dedicated Placement Cell of the APW helps students find suitable placement in the industry. Arrangements have also been made with internationally renowned institutions for certification of select courses, to enable students achieve internationally recognized vocational qualifications, which help them in getting employment both in India and abroad.
