1. Why should I seek admission in APW?

2. Where is the institute located?

The institute is located at Amity Campus, E3-Block, Sector-125, Noida – 201301

3.Who can take admission ?

Admission is open to women who have passed Class X, XII or Graduation, depending on the qualification laid down for each course.

4. When will the courses commence?

The courses will commence on 15th July 2007.

5. What is the last date to apply for admission?

The last date to apply for admission is 15 June 2007. Seats are limited and admissions are on first come first served basis.

6.Why should I undertake examinations conducted by international institutions ?

Examinations conducted by internationally renowned institutes will provide you with certification that is recognized internationally and will thus also provide you with an opportunity to work abroad. It certifies the high standard that you achieve and is well recognized in India also.

7. How will placements be arranged?

Placements are a key result area for the Polytechnic. Amity has an excellent track record of placements. A dedicated Placement Cell of the APW helps students find suitable placement in the industry.

8. Is hostel accommodation available?

Limited hostel accommodation is available. You may apply for Hostel accommodation stating your reasons. Outstation students will be given preference.

9. Where can I buy the Application Form?

You can buy the Application Form costing Rs 250/- from Amity Polytechnic for Women, Amity Campus, E3-Block, Sector-125, Noida – 201301 Telephone: 0120 – 4392550, 9910036580. Email: apw@amity.edu and B-1/623, Janakpuri. You can also download the form online at www.amity.edu/apw/ . You will be required to deposit Rs 250/- in cash/by demand draft along with the Application Form if the same was downloaded by you.

10. Where can I submit the Application Form?

11. What are the details of scholarship?

Scholarships, ranging from 25 to 100% of the course fees will be awarded to deserving candidates. You may apply for the scholarship and submit it with your application form.

12. What are the number of seats per course?

Each batch will consist of about 30 students. There may be more than one batch in a particular course.

13. Can I get a bank loan?

Yes, you may apply for a loan to the Oriental Bank of Commerce, Amity Campus, Sector-44, Noida.
