The Amity School of Communication offers various programs that are a creative blend of theory and practice where learning becomes a delightful experience under the able guidance of those with hands-on sets. The curriculum is integrated into a skill and field-based learning as a value-addition. The syllabi facilitate a better understanding and appreciation of what they learn in the classroom. Each subject has a specific value addition exercise customized to meet individual students’ needs.
The building has air-conditioned and spacious classrooms, a library, computer lab, photo processing lab, projection room, production control room and a cafeteria. The college has an outstanding audio and video studio where the students edit their own television programs and studio-based exercises using Final Cut Pro (FCP) a latest soft ware used in video editing. The state-of-art studio has a seamless floor, multi-cam shoot set-up, recording and non-linear editing suites, which can match up to the best in the industry.
Print, broadcast and now the new media with an unprecedented stress on telecommunication and computer-based technologies have completely altered the way we use, manage and manipulate time and space. This convergence has resulted in the creation of new job opportunities and an ever-increasing demand for in-depth and practical media-courses such as the one, which Amity School of Communication has championed.
