Our aim is to facilitate “Quality Engineering Education” to equip and enrich young minds to meet global challenges in development, innovation and application of technology in the service of Humanity.
Amity School of Engineering and Technology consists of seven departments namely Applied Sciences, Computer Science & Engineering, Information Technology, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Electronics & Electrical Engineering, Mechanical & Automation Engineering and Civil Engineering. It is one of the best engineering colleges in India. It is located in E-Block at Amity University, Noida Campus occupying an area one lakh sq. feet. The School has 220 faculty members, 100 support staff & over 4500 students. Our infrastructure is supported by 118 fully equipped laboratories.
ASET offers more than thirty eight Programmes of which seven are the B.Tech Programmes, one B.Tech + M.Tech Dual Degree Program, four B.Tech + MBA Dual Degree Programmes, twenty six M.Tech Programmes. Ph.D Programmes are also offered in all subjects. (List of these programmes is given at courses offered option).
Academic programmes at ASET are designed to enable growth and learning in a highly focused and application-based environment. This is achieved through a combination of formal lectures and hands-on experience in well equipped laboratories and through project activity.
At ASET there is a strong relation between the students, faculty, and the corporate world to initiate continuous interaction with the industry, sharing the industry experiences, understanding industry needs and providing the required support to the corporate world.
We regularly organize Conferences, Seminars and Workshops to keep in pace with the current developments in the research community. Scientists, academicians and researchers are invited to share their latest research and experiences.
ASET conducts path breaking and innovative research in various spheres. This research has been facilitated by various Centers of Excellence and support of the faculty, through publish books, articles and research papers on various topics. Our research program is also supported by high-tech laboratories which act as ideal training ground for budding professionals that allow students to experiment and gain practical knowledge.
Amity School of Engineering & Technology is committed to grooming leaders who are not only thorough professionals but also good human beings. Our faculty and senior team travel all over the globe to learn and imbibe the best practices so as to enable us to provide solid foundation for learning. As part of this endeavour, we have provided well equipped library with books from diversified areas, periodicals and National & International Journals.
A number of clubs and committees are active in ASET which provide students a platform for honing their skills through participation in co curricular and extra curricular activities.
Participation in Inter institute competitions in both technical, non technical and cultural events through these clubs and committees sharpen the competitive skills of the students. They provide a conducive out-of-classroom learning environment for students to cultivate and nurture their talents, team, leadership capabilities and help in grooming them to be multi-skilled, all-rounded and well networked professionals possessing the requisite competitive skills.
Co curricular and extra curricular activities span participation in paper presentation, workshops, seminars quiz competitions, technical competitions, and participation in cultural activities and competitions.
Technical co curricular activities are channelized through various Departmental technical clubs of ASET relating to the programmes of study such as: Data Base Management System, Networking Security, Web Designing & Coding, Artificial Intelligence, Computer Architecture, Software Engineering, Linux, Data Storage, Robotics, Automobile Club, Mechanical Engineering Modeling, Embedded System Design & Robotics, VLSI & Digital System Design, Signal And Image Processing, Communication System Design etc. There is also a wide range of extra curricular and cultural activities in which students participate through the clubs and committees such as Choreography, Music, Dance, Dramatics, Debating, Literary activities and Human values awareness activities etc.
Student Professional Chapters such as the IEEE and CSI help in augmenting and consolidating the professional skills of the students.
I have experienced during my three decades of stay in Germany that the Indian mind is second to none in the world and can take on any challenge in technological and engineering field in the contemporary world. The Challenges are there for socio-economic upliftment of the Indian masses, defense requirements of the country, exploration of nature on Earth and in space and creation of new resources of energy etc. I am convinced that these and other challenges can be met through propagation of world-class quality education in Engineering and Technology in Amity School of Engineering (ASE).
I have set for myself a target to provide total education to my students, from primary to higher / professional education in all areas like engineering and technology, law, business management etc., through the institutions of foundation so that my students, AMITIANS, may excel in their profession, and achieve their goals and have a joyful and contented life. this would lead to serving the nation and the humanity.
In our country, we have immense talent. All that is required is to guide and bring out the best of it through quality and need-based education. This I have planned through the institutions of RBEF. Thus the paramount importance is to create international bridges by blending the advanced knowledge and modern technological tools of the West with the Indian traditional values, culture and heritage of the East.
This aim cannot be achieved without support and guidance of all those whose help the ASE Team has been seeking and would be seeking.
The students determined to excel, the competent and dedicated faculty, the meticulously designed curriculum and the optimum infrastructure is going to bring ASE among THE BEST in the world, which is my endeavour and which is my firm belief.
