M.F.A (Master in fine art course) 2years course

Master in fine art courses (a) Painting (b) Sculpture and (c) Applied art, provide advanced training for talented students, scholars from India and abroad .The emphasis will be on practical studio, prescribed theory subjects and research in selected fields. These are full time courses and will be of two years duration.

Elegibility For Admission

Candidates seeking admission to the M.F.A. Courses must have passed the Bachelor of Fine Arts Examination of Delhi University or an examination recognized equivalent there to with 50% of more marks in the aggregate.

Method Of Selection

The candidates will be required to be present for an interview as per admission calendar with a portfolio of their works before a committee headed by the President, to be held on 20th July, 2004 starting at 10.00 AM. The decision of this committee will be final. The selection will be strictly in order of merit as decided by the committee.

MFA APPLIED ART

The program is designed to emphasize upon professional aspects. The main focus of training in Graphic Arts is aesthetic sense, understanding the problems of communications as well as transferring graphically, the information which is received and analyzed. It is aimed for further developing knowledge of design and enhancement of skills acquired during undergraduate studies.
