Diploma in Political Leadership & Management
AIM
The aim of the programme is to prepare the participants to
make a greater contribution towards better governance: 'service first to
the people' particularly the less privileged and to inculcate and strengthen
leadership qualities in civil service.
Objectives
On completion of the programme, the participants will be able to
- Analyze major contemporary issues having implications for public policy
and public management.
- Explain recent developments in social-sciences and their application in
administration.
- Review their experiences by making critical analysis of environmental and
other factors impinging upon the functioning of the administrative system.
- Apply relevant concepts, skills and techniques relating to policy, behavioural,
administrative and management sciences in public management; and
- Demonstrate their creative and analytical ability individually and in groups.
