Training and Placements constitute an important and Integral part of ASH curriculum and are valued for their relevance in Management Education . Summer Internships( MBA – Hospitality Management ) positioned between the first and second year of ASH program

After completing the first year course work , the students are placed in different organizations for a period of two months on a specific assignment . Industrial Training ( BHM – Hotel Management ) provided at the end of first year in college aims in imparting and developing specific skills for the purpose of attaining excellence in specialized jobs. It also enhances the skill of a trainee to acquire experience in all the potential jobs.

Hospitality Training is a short term process utilizing a systematic and organized procedure by which trainees learn technical knowledge and practical skills for a definite purpose . Industrial Training helps one to proceed step by step and develop a suitable career path.

Apart from giving the students an opportunity to test out the theoretical concepts learnt in the classroom , the summer experience gives an insight into the working of the real organizations . This also helps students to explore career opportunities in their area of Interest and appreciate the inter linkages among different functions and develop a realistic managerial perspective about the organizations.

The Corporate Resource Centre locates a suitable project in different organizations . The students have to accept the first offer he/she gets . As a part of these assignments , students are required to submit a report . The presentation made by the student to the organization forms the basis for the evaluation of the project work.

Vast and wide contacts maintained by the college with the industry and exemplary training imparted to students ensures that all the best Hospitality options are available to the students with regard to both Training and Placements.
