Amity School of Insurance and Actuarial Science has taken an initiative in bringing all the private insurance companies on a common platform of sports by organizing the Amity Insurance Cricket Cup'03 in its campus at Noida beginning 7th December, 2003. This is in support of AMITASHA, NGO of the Amity Group Foundation, RBEF aimed at bringing difference in the quality of the life and provide education and upkeep of the 300 girl children under its umbrella.

There was an enthusiastic response from the private insurance companies representing Aviva Life Insurance Co., Bajaj Allianz General Insurance Co., Birla Sunlife Insurance Co., HDFC Standard Life Insurance Co., ICICI Prudential Life Insurance Co., IFFCO-Tokio General Insurance Co., Max New York Life Insurance Co., Metlife Insurance Co., Royal Sundaram General Insurance Co., Tata-AIG General Insurance Co. and Amity School of Insurance and Actuarial Science.

1. The tournament will be conducted on knock-out basis.
2. The tournament will be of 30 overs each side and winner will be decided on that basis.
3. The matches will be played on Saturday and Sunday from 10.00 am to 4.00 pm. or till the end of the game. One match will be played on each day. The matches will start from 07.12.2003 and prize distribution is tentatively fixed on 12.01.2004.
4. Each team will get maximum 2.30 Hours for completing 30 overs. In case the team is not able to complete the overs within the stipulated time, the match referee can award less over for the defaulting team to complete their inning.
5. The draw for the tournament will be drawn in the presence of all the participating teams. The tournament committee will announce the date of draw and representative of all participating teams will be invited for this purpose.
6. The teams will be provided refreshment between the inning and lunch at the lunch interval..
7. The team will pay a fee of Rs.5,000/- for participating in the tournament along with confirmation about their participation.
8. Suitable award will be given to the winning team and runner up team of the tournament..
9. Man of the match award will be given for each match and also a "Man of the Series" award at the end of the tournament. The best batsman and best bowler will also be given suitable prize for over all performance in the tournament.
10. The matches will be played at Amity Cricket Ground, Sector-44, Noida.
11. The matches can be played at other grounds also if both teams agrees to it after obtaining prior approval of the tournament committee. The expenses there of will be borne by ASIAS on all counts as specified above.
12. Only employees and agents working with the company will be eligible to participate in the tournament.
