IT Seminar, held on 16th & 17th April, 2008

The Seminar on “Application of IT in Insurance Industry” was our first initiative to bring the two disciplines together. We received a massive response to our efforts. 15 insurance companies and 21 IT companies participated in the event besides Lingya Institute of Management & Technology. The quality of presentations was a delightful experience. Many of the participants from the insurance industry expressed the thrill of being exposed to innovations in insurance engineered by the IT industry as was evident from some of the presentations. It is heartening to add that in all 27 research papers / presentations on diverse topics related to the theme were presented over two days.
