Amity Insurance Cricket Cup (02-03)
The Cup was sponsored with a view to bringing the insurance companies on a common platform and forging a spirit of healthy competition amongst them. The response was overwhelming. As many as ten insurance companies from the private sector participated in the event. To inculcate the spirit of service amongst students, it was decided to donate the participation fee received from the companies to ‘AMITASHA’, NGO arm of Amity Group, engaged in the education and up-liftment of the ‘girl child’ belonging to the deprived sections of the society.
This event will be an annual feature. It provides the students with an opportunity to mingle and interact with the insurance professionals from different companies.
