Courses

The educational programs of Amity School of Natural Resources and Sustainable Development are intensive and involve significant time in lectures, seminars, practicals and group work by the student. In the final semester of MBA and Diploma programs the students shall undertake supervised research project on a subject of their own choice.

The courses aim to give students applied knowledge in natural resources management, with opportunity to specialize in the following areas 1) Forest Management, 2) Water Resource Management, 3) Sustainable Management and Utilization of Bamboo, 4) Herbal Technology, 5) Ecotourism, 6) Environmental Policy and law, 7) Tree improvement 8) Plantation technology, 9) Urban Forestry and 10) Management of Forestry projects ,11) Creation and management of strip plantation ,etc.

Our carefully designed curriculum shall enable the students to integrate ecological conservation with natural resources development. The course shall prepare the students to address complex natural resources issues that set it apart from courses of other institutions that emphasize specialization. Problem of real world seldom fall into discreet disciplines. This is particularly true of the major conservation and development problems.
