Annual Sports Meet at Amity International School, East Delhi
Keeping up with its tradition, the primary wing of Amity International School, East Delhi organized its third Annual Sports Meet on March 5, 2005. The Chief Guest for the programme was Dr. (Mrs.) Amita Chauhan, Chairperson- Amity International Schools. The principal, Mrs. Mohina Dar welcomed the distinguished guests and parents. The Headmistress, Mrs. Rashmi Sharma presented the school report.
The programme commenced with the March Past and the unfurling of the School Sports Flag. The bright and enthusiastic toddlers of Nursery took the audience to a trip to the circus, while the tiny tots of K.G. captivated everyone’s attention by an aerobics drill. The budding gymnasts, skaters and karatekars were no less in demonstrating their skills. The students enthralled the audience with the traditional Dandia Dance and the Oriental Japanese Fan Dance. The meet concluded with the prize distribution ceremony and vote of thanks by the Chairperson.
