Amity School of Computer Sciences signs MoU with Gannon University- Pennsylvania, USA

Amity School of Computer Science, Noida (ASCS) and
Gannon University- Pennsylvania, USA signed an MoU for the
Masters Degree in Computer Science at Amity’s Corporate Office, New Delhi. The signing of MoU is the result of both the Universities' desire for working in a spirit of cooperation to establish an academic link between the two institutions. Gannon University has been ranked among the Top 50 in the Northern Sector of America.
The MoU was signed by
Mr. Atul Chauhan, Chancellor- Amity University, Uttar Pradesh and
Mr. Mahesh Aggarwal, Programme Coordinator International- Gannon University, Pennsylvania on behalf of Amity & Gannon University respectively. The MoU has been signed for the next 10 years. Amity University will be launching 2 new courses;
M.S. in Computer & Information Science and M.S. in Embedded Software Engineering. The course duration is two years with students studying one year at Amity and completing final year at Gannon University.
Amity University will also be launching
fast track courses to enable students to complete the same courses in one and a half years. These programmes will work on credit system with international rankings.
The Amity collaborative model provides the framework for the student to get world class education, the student studies partly in India and partly abroad to get an international degree. This not only enables a great saving in costs, but also provides the student for a much valued exposure to a foreign land, people, culture and ethos enabling him to prepare for the global challenges. These international collaborative programmes are designed to bring students closer to the frontiers of knowledge in their specialist area of management or engineering and to prepare them for positions that will require research skills or advanced specialist knowledge in particular areas, and provide a pathway to doctoral research.
