AMITY INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL launches its new campus in Vasundhra, Ghaziabad
“Amity was born out of a single thought that, through Education change the world by refashioning out-dated values” - Dr. Ashok K. Chauhan, Founder President, Ritnand Balved Education Foundation(RBEF). In 1991, RBEF started its first school – the Amity International School in South Delhi and with it laid the foundation of what the group calls the “Amity Universe of world-class education.” The group has since slowly but steadily grown into a mélange of five schools from primary to senior level.
AMITY launched its 6th School at a sprawling campus in Vasundhra, Ghaziabad. The school at present has about 500 students on its roll and the admission for K.G. to class VII is still on. Ms. Shashi Ranjan, M. Sc (Physics), is the Vice-Principal of this school under the Aegis of
Dr. (Mrs.) Amita Chauhan, Chairperson, Amity International Schools.
At the inaugural havan,
Dr. Amita Chauhan spoke about her students with great pride, “The school is going to run in the true spirit of Amity philosophy: MODERNITY BLENDS WITH TRADITION.” She further inspired the students and motivated them to work hard to make Amity International School, Vasundhra the best school.
Ms. Shashi Ranjan commented, “Amity is going to give education to excel globally along with traditional values which are missing in today’s social world. It will also provide individualized education in the classroom situation. Amity, Vasundhra believes that each child is endowed with seven different intelligences such as linguistic, logical mathematics, musical, spatial, intra-personal, physical and social.”
The school will be providing all the facilities from an auditorium, Linguaphone, Math & Science Lab, Sports like football, hockey, cricket, badminton, basketball, table-tennis, volleyball, karate, Horse-riding and many more.
