Prospective of Higher Education in Russia
Amity School of Languages, AUH organized the seminar on "Prospectives of Higher Education in Russia". Ms. Tatyana Perova, Head of Russian Language Teachers’ Training Centre at Russian Centre of Science & Culture, New Delhi and Mr. Vasilii Shagap, Chief Coordinator of Russian government scholarships and events, at Russian Centre of Science & Culture, New Delhi delivered a lecture with audio & video presentation. They discussed about Russia, Russian education system. They also talked about how Russian Schools and Russian universities work. They explained which types of opportunities are available after completing courses in Russian language. The guests also talked about how to get a Russian government scholarship and study in Russia free of cost. The students showed very keen interest and interacted with our esteemed guests on the various issues related with Russian education.
A Russian Language Corner was inaugurated by our honorable guests in Amity Central Library, for which RCSC donated a large number of books on Russian, language, literature and culture. Amity School of Languages is very thankful to RCSC, New Delhi for such great a contribution to spread and strengthen Russian language studies. Russian language team thanked the guests for their constant support and help.
Besides it RCSC delegation announced the results of remaining competitions of annual inter-university competitions "Days of Russian Language & Culture 2019" held on 06/02/19, in which AUH had won Amity Haryana had won 5 prizes. Today again AUH got 2 more prizes, second and third prize in poster making competition. Now AUH has got 7 prizes in total, which are highest number prizes won by AUH in this event in a year.
