Tree Plantation Campaign in Amity University Gurgaon

A Tree Plantation Campaign was run in Amity University Gurgaon. More than 800 saplings of different species including Chukrasia velutina, Alphitonia and Ficus were planted on the campus in the last one week. Campaign was inaugurated by Prof. (Dr.) P.B. Sharma (Vice Chancellor Amity University Gurgaon). While planting the first sapling he said that Environment Protection is our main aim.
Prof. (Dr) Padmakali Banerjee (Pro Vice-Chancellor Amity University Gurgaon) stressed the importance of planting trees and said that planting one tree means planting a whole living system.
The campaign ended with an oath taken by all, to plant trees on a special occasion and keep the environment “CLEAN AND GREEN”.
