Industrial Visit to SRF Fluorochemicals and Specialty Chemicals Plant, Alwar
Corporate Resources Center, Amity University Gurgaon organize an industrial visit for M.Sc Chemistry third semester to SRF Fluorochemicals and Specialty Chemicals Plant, Alwar on 10th November to introduce them about manufacturing and dealing with many hazardous chemicals used for refrigerants, engineering plastics and industrial yarns in India. And introduce them business area in Chemical, Packaging Films, Industrial Yarn and Engineering Plastic.
SRF was incorporated in 1970 and very soon it became a leader in refrigerants, engineering plastics and industrial yarns in India. The company deals with manufactures polyester films and fluorospecialities. Besides India, SRF has a presence in Dubai, South Africa and Thailand. SRF is world second largest producer of Nylon 6 tyres cord fabrics and belting fabrics and exports to over 60 countries. Company has business in Chemical, Packaging Films, Industrial Yarn and Engineering Plastics.
Students group was guided by Vice-President EHS and Vice-President Manufacturing and they had explained about the processing and safety measures taken on daily basis. And introduce the idea about the product they are manufacturing and their applications special focusing on Fluorochemicals.
