Film-O-Mania Final Event For The Mental Health Week Celebration
The final event for the “Mental Health Week Celebration” was “Film-O-Mania”. A “Short Film making competition” with the noble intention of spreading awareness about mental health, through digital way. There were 2 short films submitted for this competition from the students of Amity School of Communication. The First short film called “Wajood” depicted Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID), commonly known as, Multiple Personality Disorder. The second short film portraying Sachin Tendulkar, showed that how one person goes through various situations regarding mental health and attains success in life. AIBAS department also showed couple of videos regarding “Mental Health Awareness in India” and “Importance of Mental Health Awareness”. Vice Chancellor Dr. D.S.Rao honoured the event by his perpetual presence.
The event was followed by a conclusion ceremony of “Mental Health Week’”. Here, all the best performers of events organized throughout the week, were valued by felicitating them with awards and trophies. At the end, The Vice Chancellor gave a concluding speech, motivating everyone to carry on this noble work to help the humanity.
