Guest Lecture on "Financial Market Regulations - SEBI (ICDR) Regulation - 2009"
The Lecture was especially oriented to acquaint the students about Financial Market Regulations with the latest updates in the Security Markets. The students were made aware Securities Exchange Board of India (Issue of Capital and Disclosure Requirement) Regulation 2009. During the lecture the recent updates on Regulation 2009 of Sep 2018 in the form of SEBI (ICDR) Regulation 2018were explained. These regulation are applicable for issue of IPO, Preferential Issue, FPO, Different Pricing Method i.e. Fixed Price Method, Book Building Method etc.Students attending the Lecture will be able toclearly understand the process of issue of securities by Public Companies and the roles of intermediaries i.e. Underwriters, Lead Merchant Bankers, Brokers under such issues.
Students response to the guest speaker was overwhelming and they had lots of questions.
