Guest Lecture and Quiz Competition by Japanese Foundation
Amity School of Languages organized a Guest Lecture and Quiz Competition in association with the Japanese Foundation. The lecture was delivered by Prof. Hiroki Konishi (Japanese native), Director Education and Japanese Language Advisor, Japan Foundation and Ms. Himani Rawal, Japanese Language Coordinator, Japan Foundation on 30th August, 2018.
Prof Ashok Kumar Tiku, HoI, Amity School of Languages welcomed the guest and introduced him amongst the august gathering.
Prof. Hiroki Konishi delivered the lecture on several aspects of Japan starting with education system, society, marriages, food, population and its diversities, culture with an aim to create awareness amongst Japanese language students.
He also included a quiz during his session in order to make the session more interactive and entertaining for the audience.
Ms. Himani Rawal, Japanese Language Advisor from Japan Foundation gave a presentation about the Aim, Objectives and activities of the Japan Foundation. She explained and elaborated how the Japanese Foundation can help student to know more about Japan, its language and culture. She also included Minato e-learning Koza (lecture) details, which could be of interest for students and others who may be interested to know more about Japan.
